Dr. Raza Ahmad, MD

I love Dr. Ahmad. He has been my favorite doctor at Delancey Associates at Penn for the last 3-4 years. Everytime, I have gone to him, I was treated compassionately, ranging from prescription treatment for depression to his care in regards to a traumatic car accident I had. Also, I didn't have insurance for a while, and he was compassionate and only charged the $100 office fee for my visits. I highly recommend him.

My daughter is a patient of Dr Ahmad's practice. She could not hear out of her ear and was in pain. She went to see Dr Ahmad and he treated her like she was trash. She recently lost her job and health insurance. Dr Ahmad interrogated her about not having health ins. and why she lost her job. ( Is that any of his business?) . She let the office know when she made her appointment she had no health ins. Dr Ahmad examined her and told her that her ear drum was perforated gave her a referral to an ENT and sent her on her way. The next day my daughter went to Temple University ER and was seen by a Dr. there who took wax out of her ear, she was charged $10. The Dr. at Temple was surprised that Dr. Ahamad could not see that there was WAX build up in her ear, and that was the cause of her pain and hearing loss. I am so disappointed that my daughter was treated so poorly by Dr. Ahamad , and he had no compassion for her. He let her leave his office in pain and not being able to hear ,and to top… it off charged her $100 knowing she did not have health insurance or a job. My daughter called me after she left his office crying because he made her feel humiliated and did not help her. I would not recommend his practice to anyone!
