I HONESTLY BELIEVE THIS IS THE WORST DOCTORS OFFICE IN FRESNO, CA. DR. SHIEHK RUSHES THROUGH EVERY APPOINTMENT WITH A SCRIPTED DIALOGUE REGARDING DIETING. THE WAIT TIME IS RIDICULOUS, NO LESS THAN TWO HOURS. SHE HAS NEVER LISTENED TO MY CONCERNS. ON MANY OCCASSIONS SHE HAS TOLD ME MY DAUGHTERS WERE OBESE AND THEY MOST CERTAINLY ARE NOT. A TIME IN THE PAST SHE SCOLDED ME FOR REFUSING THE FLU SHOT SIMPLY BECAUSE I WANTED TO DO MORE OF MY OWN RESEARCH. SHES ISN'T VERY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING AS A PEDIATRICIAN SHOULD BE. WHOEVER MAKES THE CALLS FOR REMINDERS OF APPTS WILL BLOW UP YOUR PHONE LIKE SALLY MAE OR SOME OTHER BILL COLLECTOR. I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS JUST MY EXPERIENCE BUT I DECIDED TO LOOK INTO HER REVIEWS ANS STUMBLED ACROSS THIS. EVERYONE HAS THE SAME ISSUES WITH HER. HER PRACTICE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN AND I AM NOW LOOKING FOR ANOTHER DOCTOR.

SHE HAS TOLD ME ON MUTIPLE OCCASSIONS THAT 2 OF MY THREE CHILDREN A OBESE WHICH COULDN'T BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH. AFTER WAITING FOR 3 HOURS TO BE SEEN SHE RUSHES THROUGH THE APPOINTMENT WITH A SCRIPTED SPEECH THAT REVOLVES ONLY AROUND DIETING. IN THE PAST I HAVE REFUSED FLU SHOTS SIMPLY BECAUSE I WANTED TO DO MY OWN RESEARCH AND SHE SCOLDED ME AND TALKED DOWN TO ME AS IF I WERE A CHILD. THERE ARE NEVER ANY SEAT COVERS OR PAPER TOWELS IN THE BATHROOM. WHOEVER MAKES THE PHONE CALLS FOR REMINDERS OF DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS WILL BLOW UP YOUR PHONE LIKE A BILL COLLECTOR. IM ASSUMING BECAUSE THE NEED THE MONEY. I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS JUST ME, BUT I DECIDED TO DO MY OWN RESERCH AND SAW THAT MANY HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS. I'M LOOKING FOR ANOTHER DOCTOR ASAP. HER PRACTICE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

She rushes through the appointment, not listening to you or what you say. Her wait time is outrageous, even with an appointment. It's always 2-3 hours in there, I hate going to her.

Grew tired of showing up on time for appointment & wait 2-4 hrs before children seen.

She doesn't not listen to your needs. She has no patience whats so ever & can raise her voice at you. We went to get a physical today and she did not understand the word NO. I specifically told her I do not want a certain shot for my child. You know what she did? She went on ahead and tried to give it to them anyways. Do not trust her. Worst doctor ever. Deserves nothing and should be fired.

She told me my 6 month old daughter was overweight. I told her I was only breastfeeding. She told me not to give her feed her every time she cries. Wait time is about 2 hours from start to finish. The receptionist always looks high. I surprised to see that she calls all of the kids fat. So rude! The lobby is dark. The bathroom had no seat covers or paper towels to dry hands. When I informed one of the nurses, they acted like they didn't even know where they kept them.

I really wish I had found another pediatrician sooner. I should have done it as soon as she made the rude comment, "your child has enough problems as it is." When I was unable to breastfeed due to no milk supply. As my child grew she became taller and bigger than the other kids. According to Sheikh she is overweight/obese and never fails to mention at EVERY appointment what I am doing wrong even though everything she is assuming I am doing I am not. It is very frustrating having a doctor talk over you and not listen. She acts as if you are incompetent. The visits with the doctor are brief for a wait time that is more than an hour. No need to make an appointment. We got seen faster when my child was a walk-in. The place is not the nicest place and looks dirty. I saw a child vomit on the rug and they just put a paper towel over it. Did not see any other form of clean up. The staff I do not have any complaints about, they have always been nice to me.

Dr. Sheikh is my kids doctor but I am currently looking for a new doctor. As I'm reading reviews for potential doctors I decide to type in dr. Sheikh just to see if anyone else had same complaints as I have. Wow!!! I see I'm not the only one who's experiences with her were horrible. Very very long wait times. They'll make 830 am app. when doctor doesn't even come in till 10am. When she finally comes into the room she doesn't make eye contact and speeds through our visit like she's in some kind of race not giving me a chance to talk. Her answer to everything is drink more water without giving much thought to our questions or concerns which a few times forced me to take them to urgent care. Very rude when it came to my youngest daughters weight. Grabbed her stomach and said "look at this look at this!" My daughter 6 at the time looked so ashamed. This doctor is just all around bad bad bad!
