Dr. Rebecca Monroe Cannom, MD

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Cannom!! She performed a much-needed colon resection surgery on me using the DaVinci robot, and the result has been nothing short of miraculous!! The diverticular infections and pain that I have suffered for the last 15 years are all resolved! She is like no other doctor I have ever had. She is so knowledgeable, kind, attentive, and warm!! She took a thorough history, scheduled me as soon as possible for surgery, visited me every day I was in the hospital, and contacted me often after surgery when I had a set-back in my recovery. She even answered my messages and called me personally on a Saturday!! She is a superlative surgeon and a rare gem as a human being, and I highly, higly recommend her!!

Dr Cannom is truly one of a kind! Not only is she highly credentialed, extremely skillful and professional but an incredibly kind, genuine and supportive doctor. From our initial consultation, to our final follow up, Dr Cannom continually displayed her caring approach and positive attitude. I wish everyone had a Doctor as amazing as Dr. Cannom!

I have never felt more compelled to leave a review on a physician than after my experience with Dr. Cannom. I don’t know how KP was able to find and keep her but she is the reason I will stay within the KP network. After dealing with anal fissures which caused absolutely debilitating and excruciating anal spasms for over 6 months, I lost all hope in getting better and my quality of life took a drastic decline. I had already been seen by 2 other KP physicians as well as 2 physicians out of network and none were able to provide any relief nor provide a sense of genuine care for the pain that left me almost completely bed-bound for months. Then I came across Dr. Cannom’s page of positive reviews and reached out for a consultation. Immediately after hearing my story and going through my charts, she scheduled me for her earliest surgery appointment. The amount of care, attention, and concern for my well being that I received from her was astonishing. Throughout a lifetime of injuries and… ailments from playing sports, I have NEVER come across a more kind spirited and down-to-earth doctor. Her skill and knowledge in her field is equally remarkable. My recommendation and regard for Dr. Cannom cannot come with more emphasis and I only wish to have found her sooner.

No matter how much I say about Dr. Cannom it will never be enough. She is one of the best physicians if not the best that I have ever met. I have been talking to her almost everyday since the day it was decided that my condition requires surgical intervention. She has top class bed side manners. She is a great human being that really cares about all her patients. I have also realized that everyone that knows her or work with her speaks so highly of her and I definitely agree with everyone regarding this. It is great to see and know people like her in this world. No matter how much I say but it will still not express my gratitude to her. Thanks to her I feel I got my life back!

I would like to express my DEEPEST GRATITUDE to my doctor Rebecca Cannom a doctor, a surgeon I would like to thank from the "bottom of my heart" as a healer, as a doctor as a human being who provided me an unprecedented care I have never seen before from a doctor changed TOTALLY my "faith" restored my faith and trust in doctors. When I hear the comment from disappointed patients "it is the system" I can respond "I know a doctor" who treats her patients one on one, who actually knows her patients. I don't know what would I have done after being diagnosed with cancer without her. She uplifts your spirit has the magic to make you feel good and forget your "diagnosis"- Instead of thinking "why me"? Dr. Cannom, has been my Sunshine on a Cloudy Day. I was notified on May 20th, 2016 at 11:39 a.m. that my colonoscopy tested for cancer. From that day until present Dr. Cannom has treated me as if I were here only patient. She listens to me with her undivided attention and always greets me with a beautiful smile, her professionalism, skill, and genuine concern is second to none. No matter the procedure she is performing her concern for my comfort is priority. There are no words to express how grateful I am to have Dr. Cannom as my doctor. I haven't even begun to tell my story of how the care I have received saved and change my life. The details of my struggles could fill a book, I can't imagine making the journey without Dr. Cannom. Doctor Cannom is simply an ideal of what all doctors should be. She's loving, caring, empathetic and has a healing and pain calming smiles. I have met many doctors in my life but Dr. Cannom is simply amazing!!

Dr. Cannom is the gold standard for which all doctors / health professionals / all people should strive to emulate - genuine/sincere, brilliant, and exceptionally thorough. I wish she ran all of Kaiser or was the Secretary of the Department of Health. Whatever Kaiser is paying her, its not enough. Talk to the nurses in the department, they'll all tell you the same thing—Dr. Cannom is truly the best - even my family of doctors who spoke to her say wow that's an amazing doctor. People like Dr. Cannom make the World a better place.

Dr Rebecca R Cannon is an excellent doctor. She performed a partial removal of my colon a month ago. I'm pleased over the moon and back with my recovery and services rendered.
