Summary

Growing up, Rebecca had always been drawn to babies, pregnancy, and childbirth. She could always be found cradling the most recent newborn or volunteering for the church nursery. Rebecca knew that when she “grew up,” she would work with babies or children somehow. She was looking for something that could use my passion for nurturing/inspiring others and took a little bit of a roundabout way to become a midwife. Initially she earned a degree in family studies before deciding nursing was the best option for her. When she learned what nurse-midwifery was all about, Rebecca knew it was what she wanted to be. “I love this career and I couldn’t see myself doing anything else,” says Rebecca. “I love being part of that moment when a new human being enters the world and a family grows. It’s an honor to bear witness to such an amazing miracle on a daily basis!”I am excited coming into work each day because I truly believes it does make a difference whether it be providing a listening ear, information for women to take better care of themselves, or assisting them through the labor and delivery process.Family and friends have held the biggest influence in Rebecca’s life—they have been supportive and believe in her dreams as much as she does. Rebecca enjoys volunteering for any organization that brings attention to women’s issues including reproductive health, mental health, or abuse. In her free time, Rebecca loves traveling and exploring places. She has been to South Korea a few times to visit her brother and his family. She’s also interested in exploring the United States. When at home, Rebecca enjoys a variety of crafts and sewing including using her cricut or creating something with wood and paint. As a midwife, I love to educate and empower my clients. I feel it is an honor to provide care and to support their choices during one of the most meaningful times in their lives. My goal is to provide evidence-based information and personalized care so that women can make informed decisions for themselves and their families.

Ensuring Data Transparency and Trust: A Guide to Vitals Doctor Listings and Reviews

Our provider data is gathered directly from physicians and publicly available databases. Providers who verify their profiles gain the ability to update information, offering additional details about their specialties, education, treated conditions, performed procedures, and accepted insurances.

Reviews on Vitals are submitted by users only. Recognizing the valuable insights these reviews offer into a doctor's reputation, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Importantly, providers cannot delete or alter reviews independently. Reviews can only be deleted or changed following an internal assessment by our customer service team.

Your feedback is highly valued and we encourage you to contact our support team should you encounter any issues.
