Dr. Rebecca Konkle, MD

I have never been treated so poorly or with such disregard to my health.

I saw Dr. Konkle in urgent care because my doctor was unavailable. She was incredibly pushy. She did not listen to me at all and continued to push that I get an X-ray for a cough that was negative for strep. She listened to my breathing and said it sounded normal. She insisted that I go late to work. I declined. She insisted at least 5 more times. I declined. After declining 6-8 times to get an x-ray because I needed to check on pricing and go to work, I left the office. I received a bill today for double what my primary care doctor charges + the Strep Assay (which is the only thing I should have been charged for). I have called the billing department and within a minute of looking at the bill said she would talk her supervisor and get back to me about questioning the charges. I would never ever go to Dr. Konkle again. I felt pushed and violated. She refused to take no for an answer until I had to just leave her office. I would never recommend her to anyone.

I find Dr. Konkle very easy to talk to and responsive to my concerns. She is also very thorough and never makes me feel rushed. I would definitely recommend her in particular and the HVMA Chelmsford facility/personnel in general. I have never had a bad experience and have always been treated respectfully.
