Dr. Rebecca A. Levine, MD

First I waited in the waiting area for over 45 mins and then I waited in the room for 1 hour and 7 mins. 2 hours for Dr. Levine to spend a total of 10 mins talking to me and she could even find the cyst on my lower back when it was huge. Granted it's under the skin but the lump was there. I would not recommend her doing the work on your body.

The reason I chose my title is because she is that scary. She has the bedside manner of Freddy Krueger. What a nightmare. I was a patient of hers and she treated me as if she had better things to do. In her exam room she asked me if I had any questions, (I proceeded to ask a question) then rolled her eyes and let out a gasp. Sorry to bother you I thought. She has a very cold expression on her face and is very intimidating even though I am not one to be easily shaken up. I did not care at all for the way she treated her residents either. I noticed that patients who were waiting were repulsed by the way she barked at her staff. My suspicions, judging by the way she looks and handles herself, is that she may be abusing her own prescriptions. And for those of you who need hemorrhoid surgery, DO NOT DARE ASK HER ABOUT USING A SITZ BATH! She HATES the mention of them but refuses to explain to the residents or patients as to the reason why. PS: I very rarely write reviews but… I was compelled to after interacting with this doctor.

I agree with the previous reviewer. Cold is the key word and no manners at all, no hi, no buy- nothing at all, you feel so uncomfortable!!! And she delegates all paperwork, she is supposed to sign to her NP, who has no legal right to do it, which causes long delays with insurance to pay disability. Horrible experience.

I would not recommend this doctor to anybody I care about, do not explains the procedure or possible complications afterwards, do not cared about pain control,the coldest person I've kown, I regret to have had surgery with her, its been a horrible experience.
