Terrible. Didnt do anything and my friends kid passed away because of her lack of care.

The worst doctor that I ever seen, every time I see her it makes my morale zero. She always talks in a negative way and makes me feel uncomfortable and afraid for my fetus and my health. At each appointment, I wait an hour or two to see her. Whenever I ask her a question via message, she either does not respond, or answers very late, or repeats what I already know and does not answer my question professionally.

After 28 hours of active labor I was so exhausted and ready to go to the OR. Dr. Mervis walked in righ tafter starting her shift and coached me like I was a pro athlete to deliver a healthy baby within 2 hours. I never got the chance to thank her as she rushed off to an emergency CS.

Excellent bedside manner. Compassionate and sincere.

Dr.Mervis is very upbeat and friendly. Getting a Pap smear done makes me really anxious. Dr. Mervis was not only able to get it done for me efficiently and less uncomfortable than every before with any of my other doctors, but she has fantastic bedside manner. She kept the conversation going to help distract me through the unpleasant part of the appointment. She is very knowledgeable and answered all questions about my IUD, and made me feel so at ease throughout my appointment. I am excited to have found my new gynecologist!

After visiting a dr in obgyn he sent me down to labor and delivery because my blood pressure was high. When I arrived dr mervis who's is my usual obgyn that I see told me that I do not have preeclampsia and she doesn't know why the dr sent me down to L&D . She explained to me that my blood pressure was normal and my swelling and blurry vision was normal. I insisted she recheck my chart on the computer before I leave [which upset her] because dr sent me down with two nurses and wouldn't let me walk. She came back ten minutes later telling me she apologizes, she had a different patients chart pulled up. If I would have went home, I would have had seizures [which later on ended up happening ] she told me I have to have emergency c section because I had severe preeclampsia. I ended up delivering a baby girl at 27 weeks . If she would have taken my symptoms seriously and not just think I'm paranoid because of my past miscarriages non of this would have happened. I'm just thankful my baby… girl is ok and that she has such great nurses and drs taken care of her in the Nicu. Dr mervis, if you are reading this, I truly hope you learned from your mistake and maybe next time when you have a patient telling you they know something is wrong for months that you take it seriously! Shame on you!!!
