Dr. Metzinger is a great Dr!! No complaints with her, but some of the staff at Tulane and the VA are absolutely horrible!! I'd recommend her any day but the facilities where she works are to be desired.

I have a long running issue with pain in my right eye which no one has been able to help me with. 4 other doctors in 3 different states basically told me to live with it. Rebecca is a world class doctor with a small town personality. A++

After dealing with inaccurate RX and dismissive optometrists for years, I have found DR. Metzinger to be a refreshing change. She listens to her patients and takes great pride in giving the best level of care available.

I went to see art Metzinger because she was the chief of ophthalmology at the VA where I work. I waited for ever, I was seing by multiple residents and whe she decided to show up, she spent one minute with me. Terrible bed side maners and didn't have a clue of what was going on. I saw a private doctor and finally got the correct treatment. Dr Metzinger is very self centered and loves to hear herself talking, but she is unable to hear others ... Awful experience.

I had a severe infection after LASIK surgery by another Ophthalmologist and Dr. Metzinger saved my vision. She is kind, compassionate and and very skilled. She gave me my life back!
