I was a patient many years ago . I came to see Dr Nachamie with classic symptoms of endometriosis . She totally disregarded my symptoms and kept insisting I see her favorite endocrinologist even though I had one who I liked and trusted . She wouldn't address my symptoms unless I saw the endocrinologist she wanted ! I left the practice , had exploratory laotoscoouc surgery which diagnosed the endometriosis and due to the severity I had a total hysterectomy one year later . My life changed for the better .

You cannot be in better hands than hers. She is skilled, experienced, humane and pragmatic. I am lucky to have been with her for all of these years.

I had been going to Dr. Nachamie for many years. i always felt she was more focused on pregnancy and babies than general women's health, but felt comfortable and continued to go to her for checkups. However, in recent years, I had a few frankly disturbing interactions, the worst of which was when i spoke to her about hot flashes and other mid-life symptoms. She told me there was no way to check my hormone levels (!) - yes i asked her to repeat this twice and then confirmed in writing. She then prescribed HRT. I asked her about side effects and she said there were none (!!!!!). I was appalled and subsequently went to another doctor who of course tested my hormone levels -- they were high -- taking HRT would've put me at serious risk for stroke. This happened over a year ago and has troubled me ever since. I don't like writing this but i feel like women should know. Perhaps D. Nachamie is not as sharp as she once was.

My 30 year old son was delivered by Dr. Nachamie and I have seen her ever since (and for months before). She is extremely caring, careful and a good friend after all of these years. I have always used her for referrals to other doctors and they have been the best. I have had many medical "issues" over the years and Dr. Nachamie has always been a visitor in the hospital and has always been supportive.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nachamie for over 20 years. Having read some of the comments, I can't believe we are talking about the same doctor?! First, she has ALWAYS taken my calls. In fact, my daughter now sees her and she spent a lot of time on the phone explaining our next steps and options. She has seen me through two pregnancies and deliveries as well as the pre-cancer scares and and everything in between. I have found her on all fronts to be attentive, a good observer and and a thorough evaluator. I would not take my own daughter to someone whom I didn't trust.
