Summary
It is a deep rooted goal of mine to improve the health of the community in which I live as well as the global community. The health of a population starts with its tiniest members. I love being able to make an impact on the lifelong health of a child as well as the community in which we live.I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my husband and three beautiful children. We spend a lot of time outdoors hiking, nature walking and doing all sorts of sports. I love cooking and focus on providing nourishing whole foods to my family.I received my medical doctorate with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Chancellor's Award) from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. I graduated with honors from Centenary College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.I am one of the only pediatricians in Central Oregon also certified as a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and have over 5,000 hours of hands on lactation consulting experience. I have worked as a general pediatrician …and newborn hospitalist since 2009.
