Dr Stackniak is an incredible neurosurgeon with excellent bedside manner I would highly recommend her.

After a 360 Lumbar fusion in 2016, I will not have any one else touch my back! Very knowledgeable and caring.

I saw Dr.Stachniak to review some brain scans. The radiologist had reported a nearly normal scan. However, Dr.Stachniak looked at the images and right away knew it was not right. She immediately had me do a special scan at the hospital. Sure enough, the results came back that I had majorly clotted off a large section of my venous blood flow. Within days, I had gone through a full extensive evaluation and had already begun treatment. She literally saved my life! She is an amazing doctor!

I went to see Dr. Stachniak for severe back and leg pain. She took time to explain my mri and all scenarios for improvement. We decided to start with an epidural steroid injection. Dr. Stachniak was very honest and told me the injection may not work but she felt we should start there before committing to surgery. I really appreciated that she didn't just want to cut me open! I am happy to report that it has been 7 years since that injection and I haven't needed any surgery to this point. I highly recommend this terrific doctor!!

Excellent, compassionate surgeon

Dr. Rebecca Stachniak is a highly skilled neurosurgeon. She and her staff are very professional and very helpful. Dr. Stachniak has performed a Cervical fusion and Lumber 360 fusion on my spine. Thanks to her, I can look forward to a life without pain and muscle spasms due to lumber scoliosis. I highly recommend her to anyone who suffers with back or neck pain

Approximately two years ago I went to Dr. Stachniak with severe pain in my lower back also shooting down my right leg. She had no trouble diagnosing it as sciatica. Her staff set me up with an appointment to get 3 epidural shots in my spine at the Methodist Hospital in Addison. My wife and I did not see Dr. Stachniak before the procedure or after the procedure. I am not sure she was even there, but my bill said she performed the procedure. The nurse practitioner was very nice and took time to brief me and my wife on the procedure. Although very pretty the anesthesiologist had the bedside manner of a crocodile. She should be working in a prison. I had two follow up appointment with Dr. Stachniak which ended up to be with the nurse practitioner. Last but not lease she never mentioned to me that my leg might get smaller and smaller due to the nerve condition, so I am looking for a surgeon now to try and save my leg. Find another doctor!!!

I was left with paralysis in both arms and hands after cervical spine surgery. Dr. Stachniak does not follow up with patients after surgery, it is left up to PA. Would not recommend Dr. Stachniak to anyone. Did not take responsibility for Spinal cord and nerve injury.

This doctor is brilliant! I can honestly say I have never met a doctor quite like her. She took the time to explain everything in great detail and in a way that was easy for me to understand. She asked about the smallest of details to make sure she completely understood my issues. She held my hand and treated me like I was a person! I wasn't a medical chart for her. I am the type of person who trusts a friends referral and I take the time to research a new doctor so I know what I'm getting myself into. After reading all the online reviews on her I felt confident I should meet with her and I am so glad I did. I read a couple of not so great things about her staff but I have to say I have found the complete opposite is true. Every single time I call the office or go in for an appointment the staff is incredibly attentive. They are friendly and extremely helpful. I will say my initial appointment was delayed but after meeting the doctor and after she spent so much time with me… I understood and even appreciate the wait time. I would rather wait hours for such a great physician than be seen on time by one that treats me like a number. Great doctor! Great staff! Great experiences!
