Dr. Reem Alkadhi, MD

Saw her recently for a head injury. Asked if she could give me stronger ibuprofen or tylenol to help with my head pain. Got very defensive over the fact that the only form of tylenol is some sort of opiate. Like who knows that? I’ve been given very strong ibuprofen in the past after dentist visits so I didn’t think it would be that hard to give normal ibuprofen rather than sit there and lecture me over opiates like I’m some sort of addict. Keep in mind, I’m twenty and have never even take a prescription level narcotic pain pill so it’s not like I went there to attempt to get one. Ridiculous. Coulda just wrote me a prescription for high dose ibuprofen and I would’ve been thrilled.

Carefully diagnosed my issue at Urgent Care. Repeated the important points of follow-up care several times to help me remember, as well as issues to look out for. Efficient but not rushed.

I have been seeing Dr. Alkadhi for the last several months. My first visit with her she asked if I wanted to get better? What kind of question is that? The nest few visits were trying different meds. My last visit was today for a follow up on the meds she gave me. My systems had not changed and the new meds did not decrease my B/P. She asked how i was doing and I told her only for to say I'm done! She said I have had a complete workup and has no idea who to refer me to and asked who I would like to see next? I asked her I didn't know(i'm not a dr.), what do you think. Dr. Alkadhi said that she didn't now know and that there was nothing medically wrong with me. I then asked if she thought this was psychological and she said yes. I said thank you grabbed my purse and left. I was appalled by the way Dr. Alkadhi treated me! I also work in health care and would NEVER treat a pt the way to treated me. I think she is okay at regular every day problems. Anything beyond that would be a waste… of your time and money!
