Poor communicator, distant, disrespectful to patients, does not care about individual he is treating. Egotistical

Managed to get in to see Dr. Abrams for a complete rupture of the distal biceps tendon. Had researched all the top docs for this injury and he was my first choice. He spent the time I needed to explain the surgery and why he did it the particular way he has innovated. Very highly regarded by everyone at the hospital as well - "Oh, you're in the best hands..." Never felt more comfortable going under. Complete recovery and only a 2 inch scar from the elbow down that is virtually invisible. Could not recommend a doctor more highly!

Dr. Reid Abrams has certainly understood maximizing tendon function verses certain permanent injuries. I rated the doctor as high as it goes with a five. He simply knows what he is talking about and doing when his work already is not compareable to another physician. A great man.

I've seen Dr. Abrams on several occasions for trigger finger. He has always been pleasant, informative, describes the alternatives well -- injections versus minor surgery, and listens to and answers my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Abrams.

Dr. Abrams is an outstanding Surgeon, in my experience. He is not just a Surgeon. He is a caring, trustworthy professional, who seems passionate, committed, and dedicated to what he does. He not only took the time to listen and understand my injury, but he explained it. He has so much experience that he even understood the fear I experienced when faced with an unexpected serious injury. He never left me guessing on what to expect with my surgeries and recovery. I have never had this serious of an injury in my life. I am glad I had him as my Surgeon. 3 surgeries later and my recovery was better than expected. He stayed involved with Occupational Therapy throughout my recovery. I could not have done this recovery without Dr. Abrams and his Occupational Therapists.

Dr. Abrams ruined my life! In my opinion he is arrogant; much more concerned about how the results of his work reflects on his reputation than how it affects his patient. Any complications and he won't deal with them, he just wants you to go away.. Dr. ABRAMS IS PROOF THAT IT'S NOT WHAT YOU KNOW BUT WHO YOU KNOW! Be smart, find another Dr.. Be well â?¡

Not only does he do top notch work, but he is the nicest guy to talk to. And that's good because if you're visiting an orthopaedic surgeon, chances are you'll be seeing him a lot post surgically.
