We were very disappointed by the level of compassion and skill from this surgeon.

Dr. Adams is a rare breed, he is incredibly personable and down to earth if he has an ego his patients do not see it, unlike some of his colleagues. My husband was diagnosed with liver cancer and when we met with Dr. Adams and his staff to discuss the procedure and risks that were involved, he did not rush us, he allowed us to ask all of the questions we had and gave us his full attention and more importantly as much time as we needed. He kept us informed before the surgery and kept monitoring after the surgery. In fact, right after he had finished my husbands surgery, Dr. Adams actually sought me out in the hospital to update me on what he found, what he had done and what our next steps would be. He is the type of surgeon and doctor that EVERY doctor should want to aspire to be; competent, kind, caring and down to earth.

Dr. Adams performed a Distal pancreatectomy on my husband in October, 2009. We had been told that his tumor was inoperable when Dr. Adams agreed to treat him. I could write a book and not say enough about how grateful we are to Dr. Adams. Our experience with Dr. Adams, his team, and the hospital was as good as was possible under the circumstances. Dr. Adams's bedside manner instills confidence and personal caring in his patients. All of this and the surgery was a success!
