Dr. Cumings in a nice doctor and seems easy to talk to . However, no one ever called me with my test results or to discuss medications. When I call the office, the staff seems irritated that I am calling and asking questions. I want a doctor who I can communicate with, but his staff is going to have to be willing to work with me too.

Dr. Cuming is very thorough, and strikes a good balance between not ordering unnecessary tests and not making assumptions based on what the "average person" might have. He responds well to requests for more information and suggestions, but you will have to ask, because he has a busy practice and, while he doesn't rush, he doesn't linger either. He is very strong on patients taking responsibility for their conditions and is great at helping you find lifestyle changes to minimize pharmaceutical interventions. If you are looking for a long term partner in your medical care, Dr. Cuming is your man!
