Dr. Rene Daniel Gonzalez, MD

It is always very sad every time I think about the passing of Dr González. As a Medical Doctor: He was the one to diagnose my Sleep Apnea, a disease that I’ve had for almost 15 years and the therapy that he prescribed has kept me alive ever since. I will always remember the conversations that we had in his office about internal medicine, pulmonary care and human physiology. As a friend: We met in our clinical training as respiratory care students. A man of few words always a friend who would listen to me when I had personal issues and help me professionally when I was looking for a part-time job and gave me a position in his medical office. I was also fortunate to meet his wife ( I became years later her Confirmation Godfather) his sister in law and family. I will always a special place in my heart for him and all his family.

I recommend this doctor to everyone, he has been the best pulmonologist I have found. Thank you all for the attention you gave me today. I will continue being patient of that doctor with pleasure!

Dr. Gonzalez attended my mother when she was admitted to Palmetto Hospital.His care was excellent, accurate with diagnosis and treatment. Medical staff, nursing staff and all personnel where also awesome. I DO RECOMMEND DR RENE GONZALEZ TO ANYONE.

Not a caring doctor. No communication skills with patient or patient s family. Just cold doctor and I would not recommended him.
