Dr. Renee Gallo

Probably the worst doctor I've ever had. She puts no effort into patient care. All her effort goes into milking the insurance company. When asked a medical question, she wines and cries and says answering the question is not covered by the insurance. Never had a doctor do that before. Read the other negative reviews, they're spot on. I would give zero stars if possible. The one star is an undeserved gift.

I’ve wasted money and time by goin here. Office staff is cold and this Dr guesses at best so you have to go back as many times to get your insurance charged instead of taking care of all your issues. Beware!

Seen Dr. Gallo for many years and since she began her own practice things just got worse. In the process of finding another doctor.

My experience of her was rankful and arrogant. She looked at my breasts with a furrowed brow and pursed lips for at least 4-5 seconds and then with hesitation said, do you know one of your breasts is larger than the other? Hard to capture tone here but... This could have been better said with something like, I notice one of your breasts is a little larger than the other... and wait till I replied. What and how she did it smacks of judgement. I know one breast is a little larger but... I know that some women have some shame around the way their body looks and this could have been very hurtful. She needs training in how to talk to her patients. Perhaps she is unaware of how she comes across... and would benefit from some inner work on who she is in relationship to her patients/clients. I told her I was depressed... no follow up question or comment. No DV screening. She told me that I was overweight -- but, no diet plan offered or further remarks but it stated on my bill… that I had nutritional counseling (I assume to fit into a filling code for more $ because there wasn't one word of counseling ). There's more, but we will leave it at that. I had only check up so hard to ascertain any of her professional skills or expertise... but in the areas of respectful communication she was horrible.

Office staff is always rude and unprofessional.The wait to speak to anyone is alway long. They never apologize for the long hold time. Like the doctor..

I have been seeing Dr. Gallo for about 2 1/2 years. I believe that she orders tests to be done at facilities where she has a financial interest and possibly orders tests not needed because of that. also, she orders very new medications that insurance doesn't yet cover. this takes time to start taking meds because of the back and forth to get a med the insurance will cover. frequently, there are long waits after arriving for appt times. receptionist and tech are unprofessional.

Keep looking for another family practitioner. The front office staff is disorganized, curt, and clueless. Dr. Gallo does not like a lot of questions and abhors her patients getting 2nd opinions or consults. I saw her 3 times and each wait was for more than an hour. There were no emergencies. The last (really the last!) time the staff ushered in a pharmaceutical rep after I had already been waiting an hour. I heard Dr. Gallo & the rep in the hallway discussing their children! Really?

Dr. Gallo herself is great however front line staff are very rude, unfriendly and unwelcoming

Dr. Gallo has been my primary physician since 2008. She is thorough and always goes over all services rendered by other physicians I am seeing. She follows up lab tests taken at the time of appointment with either a card in the mail indicating the results of tests. If there is anything abnormal her office calls me and if necessary refers me to physicians in other specialties as needed. I feel she is a very thorough doctor and her staff is easy to work with.
