This was my first visit with Dr. Straub. She was kind friendly professional respectful and courteous. I would highly recommend her

I've seen a lot of dermatologits in Charleston SC and she is by far the best one I've been to!! Great experience.

My husband went here the other day, spent all of 15 minutes getting a few warts frozen off, and then left. When he checked his bill online yesterday, it showed his visit costing approximately $800. We were shocked, and completely certain that this was a mistake. He called the office this morning to find out that, no, it was correct. Apparently, after the initial fees of getting an appointment and performing the first procedure, there is a set cost for each wart frozen afterward. Thus, 6 or 7 warts frozen in 15 minutes cost us $800. This is utterly ridiculous. She also couldn't seem to get him out of the office quickly enough. DO NOT go to this doctor. Even with insurance, we're having to pay around $250 for 15 minutes to FREEZE OFF WARTS. Ridiculous and infuriating. Save your money and go to a doctor who cares about their patients and their finances.

She does not spend time with you. Does not listen to you or really care what you have to say. She seems in a hurry. I have seen her on more than 1 occasion and this is her method. I was really displeased with my visits and will not be back to see her.

Overall ease of getting to the office & checked in was good. Saw her at the North Charleston location. Her nurse was not the friendliest, and didn't seem to be accurately taking note of the answers to the questions she was asking me. Dr. Straub had good bedside manners, and was friendly which made up for her nurse's lack of enthusiasm. She answered all my questions, although at times she could talk quickly. She ordered some labs that I got done at Labcorp instead of a MUSC lab, and she did not bother to add those results to MyChart, which came off as a bit lazy to me. Overall I would recommend her, but I wouldn't say she is the best doctor I've seen.
