Dr. Renuka Tyagi, MD

Things happen during surgery that sometimes cannot be helped. The problem came after she punctured my bladder by accident while doing surgery to me and i woke up with a bag attached to my leg. I wanted to talk to her because none of this was explained to me before surgery or after. She messed up in surgery and would not take my phone calls. I had questions and was scared. I left so many messages. She would’t call me back. Two days later after many unanswered phone calls I called a doctor she knew and asked for her advice. This doctor called her and then she finally, embarrassed, called me back to apologize. I spent two days scared and crying that i would never get back.

Dr Tyagi listened to me and together we developed a treatment plan and I left my concerns were address. She came across very competent, caring, and attentive. I felt very comfortable with the plan and felt relieved when I left.

She is excellent physician with excellent clinical skills. She takes the time to explain your diagnosis in detail and treatment options. I have never meet a physician with so much compassion for her patients. Her office staff is probably one of the nicest staff I have ever meet. I highly recommend her to any patient.

I had been to several doctors in NJ about my problem and none of them were able, or willing, to help me. I went to one who could barely spend 5 minutes with me and said she didn't know if she could help me! Dr. Tyagi spent AN HOUR with me on my first visit and when she told me she could help me, I burst into tears of relief. After a year and a half of medical treatment and physical therapy (no, she did not recommend surgery) she told me to stop the medication and I didn't need to come back, only if my symptoms came back! I feel better than ever and would recommend her to wholeheartedly. The person who kept writing those bad reviews must have seen a different doctor!

Waited over two hours, rushed my appointment, nurse and doctor very unorganized and incompetent, and lastly without doing any testing was already talking about surgery at the end of my consult. No thanks!

I had major surgical repair with Dr Tyagi almost a year ago and she has changed my life! I'm shocked that a few insecure and over dramatic people try to ruin the reputation of an incredible doctor. She is so kind and so talented and treated me with so much respect. She doesn't care what you look like or who you are, she treats people with respect and uses her amazing talent and expertise to give everyone the best treatment options, not just surgical but all options. I would recommend her to everyone that ever has a uro/gyn issue because there are very few with her ability out there. Thank you Dr Tyagi, I don't know what I would have done without you!!

Think twice before making an appt. with this Dr. Full of herself and not too interested in you. Told me I had had the wrong surgery at another hospital. Then preceded to tell me how great she and her colleagues were. Did nothing but make me feel exploited by my last surgeon. I wondered at her failure to realize that she could be subpoenaed after claiming another physician caused me harm. Not the greatest of surgeons but I wouldn't have torn him down. I was on the table for five hrs and this ( whatever) stopped short of calling him a jerk. What does that say about her. She did nothing for me but leave me upset and in tears. Still have pelvic issues that need to be treated. Maybe it was ll just too beyond her skill.

I saw Dr Tyagi for the first time today. The staff was incredibly helpful and actually called 2 times to offer me appointments sooner due to cancellation. She is incredibly knowledgable, spent a lot of time with me and thoroughly explained my diagnosis. Her bedside manner was by far the best of ANY doctor I've ever seen. I felt comfortable discussing all of my very personal female issues with her because she just "gets it". I wish there were more like her because I have never trusted or respected a physician as much as I did her today. If you need a female Urogynecologist/Urologist, GO TO HER! You will not be disappointed.
