Dr. Reshma Nair Haugen, MD

I really like Dr. Haugen as a dermatologist, but it is impossible to get an appointment. I wanted to get a overall skin evaluation for early skin cancer detection, but I was told I needed to wait one year for an appointment. The point of early detection is to find it early. The office was not accommodating at all. Unfortunately, I had to look elsewhere for another dermatologist that could see me a lot sooner.

I have been going to Dr. Haugen for three years now. I drive an hour one way to get to her nearest office in Skokie. The office staff are always courteous and prompt; I never wait more than 5 minutes after check-in. Dr. Haugen is extremely knowledgeable in the field of dermatology. She is always up to date on the latest studies. Her bedside manner can't be beat. She always answers any questions I have thoroughly. I speak from experience; during these three years Dr. Haugen has identified and removed 20+ skin cancers (all three types) with no recurrances on the same site. She is just that thorough! Would recommend Dr. Haugen to anyone without hesitation.
