Dr. Rex Ghassemi, MD

Would not recommend. Had procedures done in Spring Lake Office. Floors are filthy in patient rooms. Confused me with other patients. Poor communication between staff. Gave me a free round of sclero to try to compensate but I’m still going somewhere else and choosing to pay out of pocket since insurance won’t cover thr ultrasound twice. So you didn’t give me anything extra here. Terrible scarring that even the staff was surprised by. Had to come back the first time because you didn’t know how to do paperwork for the ins company. Then today you and the NP gave me two conflicting answers about when to do my next procedure. Polite but unskilled.

All I can say is, NO. No, no, no! Wasn’t happy at this practice, did not get the services I needed. It took months to get an appointment, months to get an ultrasound and several weeks to see the Dr with his diagnosis. Weeks later I come back for a procedure and told that I really needed a different procedure. They need to get their act together.

Met with Dr. Ghassemi after meeting with three other vein Docs in my area. His diagnosis of my varicose veins was in line with the other physicians I met, but offered treatments that were not offered by others. After having procedures done, I couldnt be happier with how my legs look and feel. I highly recommend Dr. Ghassemi for vein treatment

I recently met with Dr. Rex Ghassemi at the ACP Vein Center in Wayne to discuss my varicose veins. I was recommended to Dr. Ghassemi by my GP. He, and his staff could not have been more courteous, prompt, and informative. I left with a complete understanding of my condition, and the options available to me. All of the procedure options would be perfomed in the office, with no need to go to a hospital or Surgical Center. I realize now that I need to take care of my veins now, before they get worse. I have complete confidence in the ACP Vein Center, and look forward to my legs feeling better again.

Went to this medical spa for a skin evaluation. They were trying to talk me into getting my veins fixed for some reason. Terrible experience all around. BTW, the guy is not a plastic surgeon, he's a heart doctor. Beware

This doctor was scheduled to perform a cardia cath and lower leg angiogram on my father. We waited for two hours at St. Joseph's Wayne Hosptial and he did not show up. He did not even call. I asked staff to contact his office, and they also sent him a text. No response. And his office had not heard from him at all. Nobody knew where he was or how to contact him. He NEVER showed up. We were there until 5pm and another doctor had to perform the procedure. No explanation as to where he was. Horrible experience. Don't recommend even contacting him.

I have found Dr Ghassemi to be a very competent and thorough diagnostician with an equally capable staff. He has associated himself with a team of excellent medical specialists and general practitioners to complement his practice. Aside from some minor details his perfomance is exemplary. I have had no problem putting my life in his hands.
