I met Dr Shali 2 years a go She is the best Dr ever

I read the reviews on Dr. Shali AFTER I had my first appointment with her. I don’t know how she chooses which patients to treat well and which to take their money and brush off. She maybe spent 10 minutes with me total. Her aide asked me all of the same exact questions that I filled out on the form. Maybe they think if you see them input the answers they are earning their new patient charge but, if so why waste the paper? She gave me referrals and a prescription. When I was leaving I realized that I didn’t know for certain if the prescription would be called in or was I to wait for it, I didn’t know who she referred me to or how to find out or make an appointment with that doctor. The charge was almost $300. I could have gone to minute clinic for half that amount. I would say that no Doctor should treat even a quarter percent of their patients the way I, and obviously others who left unsatisfactory reviews, were treated. She has some soul searching to do. I suggest trying someone… else. I will say that the office staff was really nice and picked up the ball that Shali dropped by helping me to get the answers to my questions. And they were very apologetic about the out of pocket cost.

I have been a patient for 11 years. She listens to my comments. Explains everything in a thorough manner. She is patient with me - never rushes me th rough. I think I am lucky to have her as my primary care doctor.

Every time I saw Dr. Shali I felt rushed and she never really listened to me. I asked for a thyroid test because my mom has thyroid issues. She read the results and said I was fine. I also told her that I had to go to the bathroom a lot and she told me I had overactive bladder. I got a referral to a gynocologist and she read the same results and said wow your thyroid is way off. I started taking the correct medicine and it fixed so many things including my need to frequently use the bathroom. My advice is find someone else who cares.

I have been a patient with Dr Shali for some time. I saw her once a year for a routine annual physical and I never get sick. The last time I went in she noticed my white cell count was up and wanted to retest. Because she insisted so much I agreed and was diaagnosed with leukemia. She referred me on for treatment and I have been treated by an oncologist for 4 years now. We caught it early. My company switched insurance and I was forced to use Kaiser for the past 2 years. When I went to them they tested me and only after I told them I had leukemia did they even retest and agree. During this time Dr Shali kept in touch with me because she cares. I am now paying more just to go back to her as my primary doctor and would recommend her to everyone. I feel she saved my life.

I really like Dr. Shali she seems to really listen to me and takes action on my medical needs. She has is a good listener and I do not feel rushed and out of time with her. Thank you.
