Dr. Rhiana Shanthi Menen, MD

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Menen and her office. She lied to me and treated me with indifference. Scheduling was terrible. Too late to go any place else. I made a few calls to: ask about removing the drain, ( evidently no appointment necessary, which I was unaware of), to make a appointment to remove the binding, and to discuss the strange look of an area on my incision and dermabond, and then she criticized ME when she didn't do a follow up and said, well you called 15 times. My binder was a size too small and so painful. My GP said go get a follow up even though it was more than a month after the mastectomy. Another egregious lie made me never want to see her again. I told my GP.

Went to this doctor as a second opinion for thyroid nodules and lymphoid cysts. Not only was she very condescending, and dismissive in my opinion, she also wanted to wait at least six month for more imaging. Six weeks later I went through the surgery with the 1st doctor and it WAS cancer of the thyroid and lymph nodes. Glad I only had to wait 6 weeks instead of 6 months. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I saw Dr.Menen in the Nampa St.Lukes today for a mass in my chest.Her bedside manner was outstanding.She was one of the kindest and most heartfelt Drs that i have ever met.

Dr Menen is just about the kindest physician I've ever met. She is extremely knowledgeable, and spends the time with patients to ensure they feel informed and comfortable. She did an amazing job on my surgery and was just as amazing during the follow up visit. She genuinely cares about her patients.
