Dr. Riaz Ali Syed, MD

He is ALL about the money. He would not prescribe thyroid medicine that I ran out of until I came into his office after I pleaded that I didn’t have the money. After borrowing from family, he had the nerve to rush the appointment and didn’t care to hear all that was going on with me. He only wanted to take my blood to bill me. Keep in mine I just went to him a month before for blood work. The office will never call back even though they promise you they will. He will never speak to you unless you are in an appointment. And my levels are still off because he is not giving the right dosage amount. I’m currently seeing another doctor. So much more just not enough room to type. Oh.. and the Jamaican receptionist is rude and cuts you off and wonders why the message is always wrong.

This 'Doctor' was my doctor for several years - until I was unable to schedule an appointment for a physical before i was to run out of blood pressure medication. The "Doctor' decided I could do without the medication I had been on for 30 years - until he got his overpriced physical done. Looking for a REAL Doctor now - one who puts his patient's health above dollars.

I've been seeing Dr Syed for about 20 years and I won't go anywhere else. He is excellent at diagnosing and treating a multitude of illnesses. Very compassionate and caring

Dr. syed and his office staff are very unprofessional and mostly rude. it takes for ever to see the Dr. usally the wait time is more than hour.he makes up his own hours.Even when you make the first appointment,he will see you hour later.no concern or care for his patient, he is just there to write prescription no way of diagnosing his patients. they never return your call not even returning pharmacy calls.I had worse experience with him and his office.if I had a choice with no star I would choose that option.

Dr. Syed is a caring physician and has provided excellent medical care for me and my family for over a decade.

My wife went to see Syed on dec 29 2011, diagnosis fluid behind ears. Prescribed a pill to reduce water retention.she went back jan 5 2012 for complete physical. Diagnosis:She may have had a light stroke.In less than 5 hours I had to take her to the emergency room of GMC. She died 8 jan 2012 at GMC.Dr syed had the gonads to bill the ins co. over 1300.00 dollars.

I've worked alongside this doctor at Gwinnett Medical. I'm also his patient. I must say that his bedside manner is always great. He always dresses very nice in a lab coat like a physician should. Very intelligent and explains things very well. A great physician! A+++

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Syed for almost 10 years (3 generations). As a nurse I have also worked with him and watched what a great doctor he was which motivated me to make him our family doctor. He always takes the time to listen to properely diagnosis. Always shows kindness, concern and patience. We now live in Texas, but we fly back to GA just to get his opinion/diagnosis for the really big problems. Would not go any where else.
