I was admitted through emergency at South Miami Hospital following a serious biking accident. I fractured my jaw in two places and fractured just about every bone in my face. I saw Dr. Castrellon almost immediately and he put a plan of action into motion that included two facial surgeries to reconstruct my face and a third for a tracheotomy to protect my air way due to all the swelling. He was always patient, thorough, and confident in the procedures and approach to the complex operations. Just 3 weeks later, my recovery is ahead of schedule. Dr. Castrellon’s incisions on my face and head were performed in such a way as to almost render them unnoticeable to the eye. He is a true professional and sincerely cares about his patients and their well being. I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon for what I went through. Thank you Dr. Castrellon!!
