Dr. Ricardo Romay, DDS

After seeing three different dentists over the past four years, I was sure I would just have to put up with unbearable wait times (I don't know why they bothered making appointments) hidden fees, not to mention less than friendly office staff. My son found Dr Romay right by our house so I figured I give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. Dr Romay (Design a smile) is amazing. The office staff is so friendly, I dont think I have ever waited more than 5 minutes, and Dr Romay can fix anything!! I had never even heard of Lumineers before, but when I showed Dr Romay the gap I had he knew exactly what to do to fix it. It was so easy and it looks great. I truly believe Dr. Romay can fix any smile. He fixed mine!!.

One visit and you can tell Dr. Romay is a dentist with years of experience judging by how efficient and good his dental work is. I have a small mouth and am usually instructed to open wide, but Dr. Romay never requested this of me and was able to still work efficiently through my mouth. I had a tiny chipped front tooth which he repaired unbeknownst to me that previous dentists have not considered fixing. During procedures where I have to keep my mouth open, he would make sure to have me periodically close my mouth so that the suction could collect my saliva better; other dentists would've just hung the suction next to your mouth or have the assistant occasionally suction when saliva is up to gargle level. It's like Dr. Romay has experienced the patient side of dental visits and so he understands how to make patients feel comfortable through procedures. Additionally, he charges a low rate; I wanted my permanent braces removed and he charged a little over half of what other dentists… quoted. I can only point out two cons: 1.) I wish he would show me my x-rays and show/explain where things needed to be fixed; 2.) Parking location is right next to Bird Road (40th Street) so when you back out of your parking spot you are pretty much backing out onto Bird Road. This would be a very stressful exit if your appointment is during traffic time, but I'm all for a little inconvenience if it means keeping the costs down for patients.

Very professional, the doctor was very kind. The office looks amazing and every thing is very clean.

I visited Dr. Romay's office b/c my dentist was retiring. Initially, I was nervous about finding a new dentist, although I had heard many good things. After my 2nd visit, I can tell you that I have found my dentist for life. He is an artist, kind, sensitive to your feelings, uses modern tools and demonstrates the highest level of expertise. The hygeniest and receptionist were extremely personable. I highly recommend Dr. Romay's office to anyone, the experience was stellar. They will take great care of you!!
