Saw Dr Richa Mahajan to establish a new provider she took her time with me asking if I had any concerns and went over my chart covering everything I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a new doctor

Waited several days and drove over an hour to see this MD, only to be informed this internist does not prescribe controlled medications. This important information was not disclosed when scheduling my appt, although I thoroughly explained my reason for scheduling...my need to establish with a MD due to a recent move to Texas with a disabling genetic syndrome. I was told I would be referred to a MD who could “manage” my care as well as a specialty referral for acute symptoms I was experiencing. A head CT was ordered as a “baseline”, but my symptoms were clearly explained as being from the neck down, making this test medically and financially unnecessary. I declined the CT and after a month, I still have not been contacted by the specialist. My medical care will be established with another provider at a different facility.
