Dr. Richard Howard Anderson, MD

Dr. Anderson is very much a dying breed. It is very difficult to find a Psychiatrist much alone an excellent Psychiatrist. I look around and if I had to replace him, who could I get? A nurse or PA, wouldn't due. I have complete confidence in his knowledge and ability, to help get me to a better place! I have been a patient of his for at least 20 years, if not longer. The addition of his wife, working with him, is another good task. She is very professional and has a heart of gold!

Dr. Anderson is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He had provided excellent care to me at the most difficult time in my life. He listened and prescribed what fit my needs most. At the time, he was located in a different office and the wait time was too much to deal with having to miss over an hour more of work than originally expected. It became a problem, so I stopped seeing him.

I only kept my child with this dr because she liked him - - I can't stand office staff, returning calls is a joke .... if you can get them to answer the phone to begin with. I pay to see the dr and talk with him not some non qualified office personnel. I willlllll NEVER recommend this office ...;. if dr Anderson moves and get his own caring staff I would reconsiderl

The phones are horrible to get through to make an appointment. No one ever answers the phone. It can take days to get through on the phone line to make an appointment. You get a recording and then it rings constantly but no one picks up the phone!!

The office staff will not return phone calls or refills. 3 week call return time

Either no one answers the phone, or goes to voice mail. When you leave a message for an appointment or question, no one ever calls you back. Messages says they will get back to you within 72 hours (which is excessive), but they don't even do that

Dr Anderson is a compassionate, caring physician who always takes extra time to listen. With his Ph.D. In neuroscience he knows a lot more about how the brain works than your average psychiatrist, and he really is an expert with medications. I heartily recommend him

From the first minute with Dr. Anderson I could tell he really was listening to me, and really understood my problems. He took careful notes, listened intently, and helped me understand his thinking about my problems. He really seems to know a lot about what he is doing, he is great with children. I recommend him strongly.

hes always behind ask when you go in if hes behind if hes behind i would suggest towalk around osc for 40 mins i waited 1:30 min before and got there on time

when confused about all the different side effects of depression medicine, Dr. Anderson had the nerve to say I am not prescribing you anything until you figure out you need it! I wanted to just cover all my basis and go over all the side effects before I do anything! WAS NOT willing to go over with me was belittling!!! I don't recommend myself much less children!
