You will notice the good reviews come from years ago when his practice was great. The service and care has gone completely down hill over the last year as he has hired new staff and grown his practice. It's no longer the family friendly practice that it used to be and the staff is down right rude and the doctors now hide behind them.

Always available to provide the best care for children of Newtown, Southbury, and surrounding communities. Open from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday and someone is available 24-7 to meet all acute needs. Offers same day sick and acute care visits, breastfeeding and pre natal consultations as well as extended visits for a wide range of behavioral, medical, and developmental concerns. Located in a beautiful newly constructed office at 32 Church Hill Road in Newtown with convenient access to I-84. Once you stop by and it feels like home, you will know you have made the correct choice for you family. It is a difficult choice, and we respect and appreciate that! We interviewed three or four practices before met with Auerbach Pediatrics. We knew almost immediately that this was the right thing for us. After three or four appointments, after meeting everyone, we are so thrilled. It is a very small practice, everyone knows who you are, whether you are calling on the phone, or walking in and picking up forms, or seeing a nurse or doctor. There is not one person there who gets less than a five star rating. I wish every doctors office were as fantastic. And my toddler just loves the trains and aquarium. Makes it entertaining to come to the doctor's even with Dr. Rick's bad jokes!

Great practice all around. All staff is friendly and warm and inviting. My kids love going to the doctors office! Dr's and RN's are attentive, compassionate, knowledgeable and most importantly available. Appointments are never an issue. Staff follows up to see how kids are doing. As a parent it is important not to be talked down to when it comes to your children...never have gotten this here. Its refreshing!
