Dr. Richard Irwin Bernstein, MD

Dr. Bernstein was wonderful. I took my mom to see him becareful she had a small tag in the side of her nose. He was very thorough, patient and answered all are our questions.

I have been seeing Dr. Bernstein off and on for about 40 years now. Although his manner may seem somewhat abstracted at times, I have found him caring and thorough. Initially when I first saw him, there might be long waits to be seen, but he seems to have gotten his appointments under control. Whoever said that they did not see any modern equipment in his examining room, much of it is out of sight in a lab and in the reception area; and he prefers taking notes by hand--at least in cases like mine where where it was started that way and would have the be transcribed. I have always felt that he enjoyed the practice of dermatology.

This is the one experience I have ever had where I have had to walk out of the office during the middle of an appointment. I was so rudely offended by this doctor, and his old school opinions, that I felt disrespected for asking questions. During the middle of the examination, he left the room. After waiting for over half an hour in the examining room, I was fed up with my experience and walked out. Four years later, I have been filed to a collection agency and charged $166.00 for being rudely mistreated!

Dr. Bernstein was very nice, however I saw nothing in the office that would have been out of place in the 60's. No computers, no HIPAA forms, no sealed biohazard containers.

HE IS A GREAT DOCTOR. hE'S BEEN DOING THIS FOR SO LONG, AND IT HAS A LOT OF EXPERIENCE
