Richard E Blair, DO

I would highly recommend Dr. Blair for anyone who is seeking a Family Practice or Preventative Medicine Specialist. He cares for my 85 year old mother, who is an immigrant, and is always kind and patient with her. He always responds to any tests that have been preformed quickly and even called us after hours regarding her bloodwork results. Dr. Blair is the consummate professional and very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend him!

Would not recommend. Spent very little time (3-5 minutes) speaking with a patient that has myriad health challenges. He did not speak with her, but rather at her. He prescribed medication,that another specialist strongly advised against using.

My foot Dr. determined that I needed to have a part of an infected toe remove. After fighting to get him to sign the consent form and faxing it back to my foot Drs office. The day before my scheduled appointment for surgery, I physically went to his office and waited while he signed the form. I went in for preopretive testing and after I was on my way back home the foot Dr called and said Dr. Blair wouldn’t approve the surgery. I felt that at the very least I deserved a phone call for an explanation. He really should have taken the time to come out to the waiting room as I was sitting there waiting for him to sign the form. I wouldn’t recomend him to anyone and I have changed Drs.

Came in for a routine physical but got charged for extras. Be careful of what you say to him as he can record and bill you for unnecessary expenses.

Dr. Blair is an excellent doctor and he seems to really be concerned with his patients well- being.
