Great bedside manner. Spent time and actually listened to my concerns

Had to wait for 1.5 hour for first appt of the day and 2 hours for a 2pm point. Only to talk to him for literally 5 min. He could not diagonase the problem kept asking the question I had already answered 2 min prior. After all was said and done, he referred me to another doctor. Will never go back to him. Bad, bad, bad Doctor

Our initial office visit was at OIP - a large group in which the front office can feel impersonal, but the staff you interact with the most is wonderful. The best was Dr. Boal himself. With a full schedule, he fit us in as new patients when my son broke both of his arms. He took time to be very personable and caring with my son. It was obvious he cared about our son's emotional and physical comfort as well as ourselves as the typical worried parents. Surgery was at Holy Spirit the next day and everyone was absolutely wonderful. We are so grateful for the care our son received by Dr. Boal and the staff that surrounds and supports him. Thank you!

Dr. boal had the attitude I don't want to be here, rude and uncaring, a close friend had a similiar experience with Dr. boal, would never refer anyone to him

First of all OIP is like a factory. There is no warmth here. They treat you like a number. An emergency situation or we would never have gone there or settled with him. Tied up with Holy Spirit (another horrible place). I did hear he's a good surgeon and may need him for that, but if you haven't had him yet or been to OIP, stay away! Dr. Boal shows no warmth, no signs of caring and you always feel like he's trying to get away from you. Treats older folks like they are NOBODIES!

Dr Boal was not willing to investigate options to solve problem. He sent me home with no treatment even after diagnostic testing (ordered by family doctor) identified problem. Very impersonal, seemed as if solution was not a textbook answer he did not want to spend time with it.

he has been around since i was 5 yrs. now i am fourty one . my dad,brother, son,niece,nephew , mom brother in law ,husban,grandmother,several,several friends have gone to him . i referred everyone to him, the list would rap around camp hill 4x. for as many person/people i have made e.r. appointments for them myself. never any trouble

Caring, good diagnostician, listens, works with his patients. Office staff was nice every time I visited. Front office staff are a little bland, but staff in back are very nice.
