Dr. Richard H Brown, MD

I was diagnosed with Colon cancer, stage 3 out of 4 stages, at the age of 43 and was recommended to seek out Dr. Brown. Dr. Brown always has taken his time to explain my condition and option in a clear manner. He is very personable and will take the time to assure that I have a full understanding of what is going on with me and what type of treatment is best, always keeping in mind quality of life. I feel blessed to have him as my doctor for I have full trust in him. I will admit that when first diagnosed, my mind went straight to my 9 year old daughter and the possibility of having a time limit with her. After being treated by Dr Brown, now I look forward to having a long life with my little girl, making and creating memories for a life time. I owe this all to him. Thank you Dr Brown.

If you want doctor who actually has time to meet with you rather than sending his nurse assistant, you should go elsewhere. He is now a big management guy with no time for patients.

Dr.Brown has treated me for over 10 years plus with 2 brain tumors.He also has treated my mother in law and Wife for breast cancer.He is very professional.And has a great sense of humor which makes visits unstressful.Plus his Asst. Shawn is awesome as well.

All we can say is that we feel Blessed to have this fine Doctor and his staff.

Dr. Brown has treated me for two serious cancers in the past seven years. He is compassionate and caring. He or his staff are always within reach, and they handle all the small stuff that a patient needs. I am still alive because of him.

I was told by my primary care physician of 23 years that upon my cancer diagnosis is should see Dr. Brown. He tried to push me into a clinical trial without even talking about standard treatment. After talking to my best friend who battled breast cancer years ago - I realized that he was just after the extra money he can make from the clinical trial.

Dr. Brown was my father's oncologist and could not have been more aloof and unconcerned as my father was given an "all clear" by Dr. Brown in April, 2012 and passed away from melanoma 7/1/12. Dr. Brown was always too busy to discuss my father's situation with us, and too busy to visit my father in the hospital. Dr. Brown needs to remember that while he is making a living as a doctor, people are involved and a little medicine, a lot of focus, with even an iota of caring might help.Unless you're healthy, i would not recommend seeing Dr. Brown.

Good Doc. needs to have a more caring bedside manner.
