Dr, Bunt is very knowledgeable and brought my issue quickly under control using various methods. He takes the time to answer all questions and his staff is very friendly too.

This Dr is exceptional! Consider yourself fortunate to become one of his patients. I had a personal crisis and met with Dr. Bunt in early Nov. Upon arriving I was checked in within several minutes of my appointment time. Dr. Bunt was kind, compassionate and his concern helped me immeasurably. During our session one of his staff interrupted with a knock, I suspected she had texted him several times as well, she tactfully reminded him we were way past scheduled time. He stated ”I apologize, this is very complicated, it has to wait.” Who does that? I almost fell off the chair! There isn’t enough space to say it all here. I’m very grateful for the support in my treatment and recovery from the depression and darkness that engulfed me.

I found Dr. Bunt some 7 years ago. I have a therapist also. As far as I am concerned he is a genius when it comes medications. He takes the time to look at your current meds and adjust them by changing times of day you take the meds and dosage. He does continue the same meds. If something isn't working well for you he doesn't jump to another drug. If you need a good psychiatrist, especialy if you are having medication problems , Dr. Bunt is your man. Cliff McKay

I am very satisfied with the care and attention from this office. I am not offended by having to do UA nor does in make me feel untrustworthy. As a matter of fact, it looks to me that Dr. Bunt takes great pride in his field and does not want to be labeled a drug pusher. My first appointment was with the NP. She was a little dismissive when i was trying to explain things to her. I am new to the area and was under the care of another physician for many years. Some questions she asked did not require just a yes or no answer and when I got a little too much into detail she was clearly dismissive. However, after we were finished, Dr. Bunt met with me for about 5 minutes. They collaborated that my current medication therapy was to remain as it has been for over 2 years. The NP could use a lesson in humility but she is very knowledgeable and thorough in her care. If you need to be coddled, she is not the one! However, if you want a good knowledgeable and thorough clinician she is… pretty awesome. I have no problem with this practice. Support staff is great! Already made referrals and will keep coming back.

I recently had to find a new Psychiatrist as the one I had for 37 years retired. My insurance, Megellan gave me Dr. Bunt's name. The girls that answered the phone giving me information were sweet and kind. However, they forgot to tell me that I would have a U.A. test on my arrival. That's not how I wanted my first visit to go. I replied that it was no problem, though, it made me feel they distrusted me before I even met Dr. Bunt. Before I could go to the U.A. bathroom, a nurse practitioner called me back. Gloria, had a somewhat "quick" personality from the first minute. Wow, it went south within the first 5 minutes of my conversing with her. She continually spoke to me as if I had zero understanding of how the medications I'd been prescribed worked, even though I gave her the pathologies along with any rebound or receptor issues. She TALKED OVER MY expert knowledge, casting me as a dim-wit that is poisoning myself. She wanted me to stay quiet and let her tell me how I was… abusing the meds. my last doctor had me on. I was polite, until she brought out a spreadsheet, of sorts, with dates medications were called in and dates I picked up. So what? I basically thought. Except for an oddity which occurred in early May. I was to vacation on a friends large boat, cruising the Bahamas...*A Bucket list, that I was truly blessed to be invited along. The trip was intended to have me "missing" for about two months. I had my Doctor, Pharmacy and Insurance all aware and they did a great job to provide me the meds. so I wouldn't run out. However, the Adderal I needed was a problem. My old Psych. had raised the dosage to 3 30mg a day, many months prior, in the event I was not responding on occasional days. He really wasn't supposed to do that, I guess. At any rate, the insurance co. wouldn't cover Adderall>2 months e.i., 60 days @ 3 a day = 180. The pharmacist asked me if I could deal with taking 2 a day which would fill the script with 120 tablets. Complicated: The 120 tabs were written as a 60 day supply, but to be taken 2 times a day. If I took 3 a day @ 120 it would make a 40 day supply, which I ended up doing....BECAUSE a Storm brewing in Bahama's forced us to make plans to leave a month early. So, I started taking 3 Adderall a day BECAUSE there would be no extra month to keep to the reduced schedule. IT WAS ALSO PRESCRIBED as a 3 a day PERSCRIPTION and could be researched in about 2 minutes to prove it legit. Gloria, declared that I was not telling the truth and that I wanted the doctor to write me more. I asked her/begged her to call the pharmacist so that I would be freed from the conviction of being a lying scammer. SHE REFUSED> I stood up abruptly, grabbed my paperwork and told her she had ruined what could have been salvation for me and simply left the building. A question to anyone out there. I was thinking of getting the Pharmacist to write a small note explaining, way better than I can, as to exactly what happened leaving me "Short". It's a kind'a last word tactic, but if the Doctor were to read it, he'd see I'm not abusing, selling, lying or scamming.

I had an appointment with Gloria a few days ago because even though I am taking all of my meds my depression has returned. I was shocked by her attitude. She wouldn't even address the possibility of switching meds. She said that it was my fault and I better find out what is wrong. When you are depressed one does not need the attitude that she had. I finally could take no more of her abuse and walked out of the office. I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone and will certainly never go back.
