Very professional, detailed, looks you in the eye when discussing your health, medications or next steps. Always repeats ad checks for understanding..If spouse accompanies you he will see you first and then bring spouse in and repeat everything ( which in my case is good to have). Excellent experience.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Cantor for a couple years now and all he has done is pushed nuclear stress test on me and right now I’m in the middle of getting another back surgery another fusion and cannot drive to his office for his service. so he will not issue me any more medication, he rather see me drive in pain and he really doesn’t even check you out that’s not the way a doctor should be. he has no consideration for his patient very sad but his office staff is excellent. I told his staff that I will find another doctor and today I received a certified letter saying that he no longer wants to treat me.????

Terrible patient care. Doesn’t listen or provide care. Will straight up ghost patients

My mother had open heart surgery for aortic valve replacement under his care. Two weeks to the date she had an unexplained large stroke. This left my mother with cognitive deficits, memory issues and loss of speech. Finally, for her first post surgery follow up after, the office rudely tells me that I am not allowed in with her. I explained I am her health caregiver and health guardian and she cannot speak. I asked for them to look it up in their system. I explained I have questions and need to understand diagnosis etc from this appt since she can’t communicate. Twice the receptionist and then a nurse came out with no compassion and said he will call you. At one point they went to ask him and she came back and he said no. I was very upset and handled her all the paperwork from all of her various hospitals and medications over. Being she is now disabled, I called the patient advocates for bon secours and was told I would be let in to appt and follow up would be made with me due to… this complaint. Even one of his nurses who walked out to a hallway asked if I was with her and agreed I should be let in. I told her I complained to medical group. Within minutes I was let in. Appt was fine. I’m walking to the elevator with my mom when I hear a voice coming at me. It is dr cantor visibly mad and runs up on us and says- this is my office and I make the rules... you complaining will do nothing. I said they agreed with me bc you are discriminating against a disabled person. Instead of being professional and talking to us about the situation he tells me to find a new doctor and walks away from us. This happened in a public hallway with other patients and visitors. Not only was this handled completely unprofessional, but he went as far to embarrass us as we were the problem. A virus doesn’t take away from a disabled persons rights.

A simple procedure became our family's worst nightmare. My mother passed away few days later due to negligence under this physicisn and Good Samaritan staff

Currently admitted to the hospital and he’s filling omg for my regular dr. , he comes in the the room and doesn’t announce hisself, and says breathe, I’m like who are you? As he is dressed in jeans, sneakers, and T-shirt, then gets upset when asked who he is, I send him away because I felt that was rude to be a professional, announce who you are I don’t care if you are a doctor or not, please do not send him back to check up on me ever!

Dr. Cantor has taken care of my husband for over 10 years after an aortic valve replacement. Two years ago I had problems with congestive heart failure due to COPD. He is always professional, caring and goes the extra mile to help out his patients. I am very happy with the care I get.

Saw some of the bad reviews. However, he is a good diagnostician. He is prompt and caring. He may be a bit rough around the edges (probably the reason for the bad reviews) but I'm seeing him as a good cardiologist. If I was looking for a date, I'd go on Match.com

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO DR CANTOR FOR OVER TWENTY YEARS. I WOULD NOT BE ALIVE WITHOUT HIM.HE IS AN EXCELLENT DIAGNOSTISION AND KNOWS WHAT MEDICAL STEPS TO TAKE TO KEEP A PATIENT AT THEIR BEST. HIS STAFF HAS ALWAYS BEEN EXTREMELY NICE AND EAGER TO HELP. I KNOW MANY OF HIS PATIENTS THAT FEEL THE SAME AS I DO.

Dr Cantor is a nightmare. He is rude and unprofessional and doesnt care about his patients. His skills leave much to be desired. Avoid him at all costs
