Dr. Richard Joseph Ceragioli, MD

As someone who has been a going to doctor Ceragioli over several years, we have built a relationship. We attend the same church, bond over the Spanish language, yet there is still a strong disconnect in his practice of medicine. My daughter has gone to him MULTIPLE times with both chronic and new issues, both of which he responds that these things are "normal". But when taken to two other doctors, those doctors have run actual tests and we have received better diagnoses and treatment options and suggestions. He rarely listens to my daughters concerns, often waiving her off with a case of teenage overthinking. I believe as a mother and as someone who is empathetic, that this invalidation is offensive. A friend of my daughter went to Ceragioli and bravely brought up her struggle with depression, and asked for help. Rather than referring her to anybody else, or preforming his own tests, this DOCTOR told her that she "couldn't be depressed" because she is "a beautiful girl". Having a… daughter who also struggles with depression (which is treated by other professionals), this is incredibly disheartening, and almost disgusting. I am positive that I am not the only person who has been affected by Ceragioli's lack of communication and laziness. His office is also a mess, all of his appointments run way too late, and the receptionists do not call back. ALSO! Ceragioli has waived off my daughter's vaccinations MULTIPLE TIMES, saying that she will get them "later", even though she was available to get them almost 2 years ago. He is a disappointment to the medical community, prompting me to get better medical insurance so that my children can be treated by better doctors and have a better quality of life.

He is one of the best in the area! Makes us feel comfortable and explains everything very well. Takes his time, you can tell he really cares. Very personable. We love him!
