We went to see Dr Chan for second opinion. Dr Chan reviewed the lab reports and gave us a fair assessment. We very much appreciate Dr Chan's feedback.

Dr. Chan is a very understanding and caring doctor, especially for elderly patients who require special needs. When my mom was under his care, he was willing to work with her needs and schedule. While dialysis was recommended, mom did not want dialysis, but wanted alternate treatment with medicine for as long as she could to live out her life. Dr. Chan accommodated her needs. When mom had other health issues, such as the time when she was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis and required hospitalization, Dr. Chan recommended the proper course of action to treat the problem, every step of the way. She made full recovery from DVT. He even recommended mom to stay at Beth Israel hospital Asian Ward where there are staff who can speak Chinese. Dr. Chan can also refer the patient to a network of doctors requiring other specializations. Dr. Chan is very professional and treats the patient with respect, and will make time to answer questions as well as offer recommendations. He… ordered tests for mom regularly to monitor the amount of toxins in her blood, and then adjusted the medications accordingly. He is exceptional with prescriptions, understanding the side effects and interactions between food and medications. Mom wanted to live out life the way she wanted and she left the way she wanted. Dr. Chan respected her wishes and accommodated her every step of the way. Thank you so much for caring for mom, Dr. Chan. Office wait times were always very reasonable in my opinion, usually much less than half hour during before noon. The wait times could be longer during the afternoons or weekends. It never felt like an overbooked office as I have encountered in many other doctor offices. The patient would be in good hands under Dr. Chan's care. I highly recommend him.

DR CHAN has been monitoring my kidney function for more than 10 years.The comprehensive tests he orders alert me to any blocking kidney stones or any other relevant issues.His well organized office and his meticulous attention to details gives me great confidence that I am in good hands so far as my health issues are concerned.

My review is on behalf of my dad, who is 91 years old. Dr. Chan is an extremely diligent, sensitive and caring doctor. He always treats Dad with much respect, carefully explaining his condition and treatment. Not too long ago, Dr. Chan identified an emergency situation, took the appropriate action, and was very attentive to my family's concerns. I sleep better at night knowing Dad is in Dr. Chan's care.

Dr. Chan recently called me on a Saturday afternoon to furnish me with results of lab test done on the Thursday of that week. I was more than pleasantly surprised - I have never had a doctor make such a call.

Came for a second opinion. Glad I did! Dr. Chan is personable, experienced, and was able to explain very complex issues related to my kidney disease. Modern, clean, comfortable setting/office. Highly recommended.
