Dr. Richard Peter Cohen, MD

When trying to ask a few followup questions to one of the office assistants. Jessica grabbed the phone and was very rude and started shouting. Dr. Cohen was very helpful but his office receptionist Jessica is simply unfit for the role. Would not recommend this practice to anyone as long as Jessica is present in the office. She makes simple office visits unpleasant and painful. Also, everything in the practice was on paper charts with tons of paper work to fill out. I switched doctors to one with a pleasant staff and that has touch screen sign ins.

Dr. Cohen has been my physician for more than 25 years. He is quite extraordinary. He diagnoses are right on, treatment follow up excellent AND HE ACTUALLY TAKES CALLS DAILY AND RETURNS CALLS!!!! His range of knowledge across many medical diagnoses and treatment is great. And he is a gentle and kind HUMAN BEING, All I can say is thank you.

Dr. Cohen is a caring human being, and a very concerned practitioner. He leaves nothing to chance, and no stone unturned. His personal follow-up is extraordinary. He takes his patients seriously...and, LISTENS.He is a throw back to the days of personal, and professional, care giving. His staff is a tribute to Dr. Cohen's easy going insistence of excellence.

This doctor may be excellent but his staff members are not.I have never encountered more rude individual like the one who answered the phone. After taking my details she promised to come back to me with timing for appointment but then she called to say that the doctor does not take patients at this time.I wonder how come she did not know it at the first place.Even great doctors can't diagnose bad assistants some time,,,

For more than 20 years Dr.Cohen has been my primary care physician. I am 86 yrs old because of his accurate diagnoses throughtout our relationship.God bless him!

In this day in age when doctors rush exams and appear to be business men in white coats, Dr. Cohen is a rare find. He's been my primary physician for 15 years - he's an excellent diagnostician, he's caring and thorough. He's unique in that he actually calls to check and see how his patients are doing if he's treating them for something serious. Indeed a rare breed!
