Dr. Richard Charles Connors, MD

I rely on Dr. Connors to advise me on my many skin cancer issues. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and truly concerned about his patients. When needed he connects me to doctors he regards as highly competent and actually makes the introduction for me so that I will not have a delayed appointment scheduled for the referral physician. I feel confident that I am in good hands.

I have been a patient of Dr. Connors for 10 years. I think he is very knowledgable and caring. (I am a woman and have never found him to be condescending as others commented.) However, every single time I have had an appointment, I have had to wait at least an hour. Recently, I had a work conflict scheduled 1.5 hrs after my scheduled appointment and I mentioned it to the receptionist upon my arrival. She said "it should be fine". She then proceeded to have 2 walk-in patients go ahead of me, knowing that I had a conflict. (I even reminded her of my conflict after the first walk-in.) Both patients arrived well after me and walked straight in. I don't understand why she wouldn't make the walk-in patients wait instead of the scheduled one! I was taken 75 min after my appointment was scheduled. I politely mentioned my conflict to Dr. Connors and he was very apologetic and worked to complete my appointment thoroughly yet quickly. He even sent me a hand-written note of apology in the mail! I… just wish he could train his staff to be more patient-focused.

Looong waits in the office, your time is not important, only his is, and it's not like they could say "we're running 45 minutes late, in case you want to get lunch or go to the library or something". He is capable, but he condescends to women, and it has not gotten better over the past few decades, is the polite way to put it. His assistant was more pleasant but has retired.

I do not understand the negative reviews here. In my experience, Dr. Connors is incredibly thorough, and very well informed, showing a great deal of understanding and empathy toward patient's concerns as well. Finally, he is very conscientious in following up. What other doctor call you on Saturday to see how you are progressing? This one does!

Always talked down to my mother. Always. Thoroughly unpleasant during my visits too. Seems to hate what he is doing and his patients.

Wonderful, caring, conscientious doctor. Today was my 2nd visit the past few years. Dr. Connors is the best. Friendly, cheerful & expert. I feel very fortunate! No one deserve the absurd, negative post written by a disgruntled for whatever g- knows purpose.

I've been going to Dr. Connors for more than twenty-five years and really appreciate his knowledge and skill. He's a nice man.

Unprofessional - rude, condescending, terribly uniformed about his trade - misdiagnosed my skin issues. Office is dirty - staff breaks confidentiality by speaking loud to patients about private matters within a very small waiting room. My best advice is to go elsewhere if you care about your health.

I have green eyes and fair skin and see Dr. Connors semi-annually. I have been under his care for twenty-five years. I think he is highly qualified and would recommend him to anyone who has skin concerns,
