When I met with Dr. Cochran six years ago, I was only 47 and not due for colonoscopy yet. He met with me and listened to my symptoms and without alarming me, scheduled me in for the colonoscopy that week. After my procedure, he put a rush on the pathology and had my husband and I in for an appointment that night to let me know I had colon cancer. We got everything done and I was ready for surgery by that Friday. The pathology showed I had a very aggressive form of colon cancer and I believe I am alive today because of my excellent doctors. Dr Coughlin’s has the very best bedside manner and he truely cares for his patients like they are his family. He is the best of the best!!

BEWARE! I had to demand a repeat of my colonoscopy after bleeding persisted. He found a tumor....on the SECOND exam. Needless to say, I went to a DIFFERENT Dr. for my surgery.

I have known Dr. Coughlin since 1995. He performed a very complicated surgery with excellent follow up and long term results. He is personable, with a sense of confidence that is unsurpassed. He knows his stuff! He explained every question in an easy to understand way that gave me full trust on surgery day. His bedside manner is as wonderful as his medical and surgical knowledge. In other words Dr. Coughlin treats his patients with the same respect as he expects for himself.His office staff are helpful and will always do their best to accomodate their patients request.If my family and I could have Dr. Coughlin for ALL of our health care needs we would not hesitate.

I had a rubber band ligation with him with worst results. Extreme pain and increased level of bleeding after the operation. I checked in to PAMF afterwards and they treated me great.The worst doctor I have visited.

Dr. Coughlin walks on water as far as we are concerned. He was professional, but warm and caring also - great sense of humor too! Our overall expereince was great and we would recommend him to everyone!
