Dr. Richard Diamond, MD

I was fortunate to have Dr.Diamond to diagnose and treat my condition. He is very thorough and patient in his diagnosis. Rules out other possibilities before determining his diagnosis. When he does explain the condition he goes into great detail re the treatment as well as the meds he prescribes and what normally to expect . I have found him to be very knowledgeable and answers my questions fully. Also explains the results of any tests he has ordered. I feel he is a person I can trust which relieves a great burden when dealing with illness. He informed me of health issues of which I had no knowledge, which I found was so helpful. Also I would like to acknowledge the support of his office staff as well. I am so pleased that I learned about Dr. Diamond through reading reviews and the ones I read were very accurate and positive. The man works three professions and a hematologist oncologist and regular MD. Yeah it looks good on paper but the man is a complete jerk. I mean obviously he’s money hungry how can you wear so many hats and keep up with your patients. Answer you can’t. My mother had a Form of brain cancer. The experience I as a family member had at his office with my mother was pathetic. We usually had a second opinion from Sloan memorial Kettering where Dr. diamond made us feel like it idiot for even thinking we needed a second opinion. Needless to say my mother passed away a slow and painful death after Dr. diamond shipped her off To receive a surgery she did not need that was not beneficial for her or her cancer which she never recovered from.

My mother died in his office during her first chemotherapy session. No one went to check on her my dad had found her when he went to pick her up.The doctor did nothing but give excuses.

Dr. Diamond will give you the TOTAL body care that you need. He has been my doctor since my 1st PE in 2012. No other doctor keeps track of my meds better than him. Not just the PE meds, but ALL of my meds, my vitamins and my migrain meds and anything else that gets prescibed to me just in case of a reaction to my PE meds. He also keeps track of ALL of my annual lady screenings. His office will also go the extra mile as to make the appt so to make sure that the screening is made. how is that for FULL SERVICE CARE.

I came to him with several different issues going on, trying to get answers and a diagnosis. Any other doctor that I mentioned I saw, he had a negative comment about. Also dismissed important information I shared the first visit to then suggest the second visit, that in fact, could be my diagnosis. I found his bedside manner terrible. As a healthcare provider myself, he talked down to me and dismissed very real concerns.

Sometimes you have to wait in his office. One reason is because he has plots of pts and also because he spends time with each pt. Never rushes you & answers all your questions. I would never go to anyone else. He's been my oncologist for over 3 yrs. For the person who thinks he has no bedside manner you didn't get to know him very well.

Good luck. I have sat in his office from 1-3 hours waiting to see him. His scheduling and promptness is extremely poor. No cancer patient should have to wait even an hour to see his doctor! Needless to say I am happily with another, more respectful doctor.

I have been to many doctors with my mom but no other doctor has given her the attention and medical care that Dr.Diamond has. I highly recommend him. Dr. Diamond is at the top of the line. He is an excellent doctor.

Had a PET scan done. He read the written results and advised me of only 1 or 4 issues found on the scan....never mentioned the other 3. When an oncology nurse (friend of family) reviewed the report, SHE said that the report also indicated bilateral growths on my tonsils, are large lesion (growth) on my right kindey with the recommendation that I have a follow up MRI, and an enlarged prostate. Don't we think that, if nothing else, he told me about those findings rather than have to learn from another party?????????? Requesting my records this week...moving on to another Dr.......One last comment...with all the tests he's recommended, he still can't tell me if I have cancer or not....his theory is lets wait and see if the condition gets worse in 3 months....NO FRIGGIN WAY!

He has no bedside manner what so ever, maybe he is better with the elderly but surely not anyone 25-35
