Dr. Richard Kirk Elliott, DO

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO DR ELLIOT FOR OVER 20 YRS' HE IS VERY CARING AND KNOWLEDGEABLE IN HIS FIELD. ALSO HIS STAFF IS GREAT TOO ALL NICE PEOPLE. NO PROBLEM,S WITH THEM . THEY ARE KIND AND CARING TOO. NEVER HAD ANYTHING GO WRONG OR ATTITUDE PROBLEM FROM ANY OF THE STAFF OR DOCTOR DR ELLIOTT GOES THE EXTRA MILE AND THEN SOME IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS AND OTHER DOCTORS DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS. DR ELLIOTT WONT STOP TESTING AND CHECKING UNTIL HE FINDS WHATS WRONG WITH YOU. I KNOW THAT FOR A FACT HE IS TOP NOTCH ANDHIS ATTITUDE IS TOO. FANTASTIC DOCTOR!!!!! J CHAMBERS

Horrible experience. Do not go to this Doctor! He has no bedside manner, will yell at you not explain results or procedure. Nurses there do not want to be bothered by you. Go somewhere else!

I was having issues with my liver & was referred to Elliot. His nurse took blood & called to get my results before my appointment. I just wanted to know if I had to worry. The nurse refused to give me anything over the phone, but it was her rudeness which bothered me most. So I called and lodged a complaint against her. The very next week I get a "you're fired" letter from his office! Due to "canceling a visit" he deemed it necessary to not see me as a patient anymore! The bottom line is this office-both the doctor and staff-are extremely arrogant. If you have a legitimate concern they don't care. In fact, they must have too much business if they're "firing" patients who have the audacity to complain.

Dr Elliot is a super great doctor. Very caring person. His staff leaves a lot to be desired. I go in to see NP and I waited in the waiting room for 55 minutes. When i ask the NP why i had to wait so long she said she had been waiting for them to get me to a room for over half an hour. They had cleared out the waiting room twice before they called me. After i seen the Np she told me to wait for my test schedule. That took another long wait. By the time I walked out of his office i had been there lacking 5 minutes being 2 hours. And the office staff was very short with me but when i was leaving after almost 2 hours they say have a good day. If it wasnt for Dr Elliot being such a great doctor i would not go back.

I have to have my esophagus strectched every 12-18 months. He has always been courteous with the office visit and the day of the procedure.

I went for an office visit hoping he would attempt a preliminary diagnosis of some minor upper abdominal pain. He spent a few minutes discussing the pain then quickly advised doing a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. I have no problem undergoing both procedures since I was due for them anyway but it seemed to me he didn't ask enough questions and was quick to prescribe the tests, which he performs in his clinic of course.The clinic appears too production oriented in my opinion.
