Dr. Richard Allen Figler

Expect to be delayed by at least two hours for your scheduled appointment. Take half day off to see him and get 5 minutes of his time and be asked to come back. No good outcome. No apologies for being consistently late. Rushes in and out of the room and still always late, I never understand. Bedside manner is not the best and pushes for shots without considering any therapeutics. His nurse is no better but his residents are good. If somehow you can get his time and attention, he can diagnose the condition correctly . Good luck

I am curious to know who are all of the people writing these great reviews. Are these the people who are receiving quality care that are causing him to consistently be late no matter what location? I personally have waited from 45 minutes to 3hrs and 12 minutes after my scheduled appointment time and had to leave some appointments because I was only taken a short amount of PTO time and no one should have to take 1/2 day off work for a Dr.s appointment. I am not receiving quality care so maybe its those people who are writing these gushing reviews that he is spending so much time with that causes him to neglect his other patients and arrive in the treatment room angry after I have had to wait an hours past my scheduled time to get 5 minutes of his time. I am always told to schedule an appointment to come back instead of treating the reason I scheduled my appointment because I am in pain! Therapy won't fix that and cannot be completed while I am in excruciating pain. Why send me home… in pain only to follow up that I am still in pain. I am wasting a office visit to come back with the same complaint only it has intensified when it could have been addressed the first visit. No one should have to wait 3 hrs for a doctor. My phone died and I watched an entire movie and the staff had to give me a charger that is how long I waited and I got 5 minutes of his time! The longer one sits in the waiting room after a scheduled appointment with the patients increasing it increases the possible exposure to contract COVID19. No one cares. I do not agree with the notion that the patient needs the Dr more than the Dr needs them so they will wait as long as they have to. There were no apologies, no one got up to check or provide any explanation other than "he got tied up with another patient". So what determines who is priority and gets treatment if this is a specialist and everyone has an appointment? I did my part and showed up on time and was 10 minutes early to sign in and have a health check as instructed, yet I waited and still was not seen. This has been my experience for several years and there was only 1 time in my scheduled appointments that he has seen me on time and by on time I mean it was 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. Guess how much time he spent with me? 7 minutes and sent me home in pain only to schedule a follow up in which I was not seen. So for all of the people he is providing quality care to that's wonderful but I can personally attest that it is not the same for everyone!

Dr Figler is the best. He went out of his way to accommodate me. He is highly knowledgeable yet listened to my concerns and questions and addressed each one. I am a bit older but I believe he saw treating my injury just as much a priority as some of his younger athletic patients. He even took the time to consult with a colleague and included my input as well to come up with a treatment plan.

Dr. Figler is very caring and was wonderful with my son. He was very aware he played sport and did his best to get him back wrestling as soon as possible. you

Knows his work. Makes me feel like my needs are priority. Cares about my pain. I highly recommend Dr. Figler.

Dr. Figler is the best doctor I have ever seen. He is very caring and understanding, he knows how to listen to me and allows me to ask many questions, of which he answers very thoroughly, making it easy for me to understand. I've had a concussion for 7 months, which has led to multiple brain and spinal cord issues, and I am no longer able to play soccer after having played for 10 years. He listens to me very well and I get the sense that he understands me and what I'm going through. I can trust him with everything and he's always just a phone call away if I need anything. I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Figler, I'm very very happy he was recommended to me.
