Dr. Richard James Forsyth, MD

I have been a patient of Doctor Forsyth since 1981 and i have gotten the best of care. His staff is great and his office is up to date with the latest advancements in technology.

Have been with Dr. Fosyth since 1981...enough said.

I can't say enough good things about this Dr. He has been treating me approximately twenty years. The last seven I have had seven surgeries, as a result of stage four colon cancer. He has been very thorough in treating me with my myriads of medications. He is very knowledgeable in his field. He has a great bedside manner and cares for his patients. A great Dr.!

Dr. Forsyth's focus and encouragement that eating a healthy diet is critical has had significant value in improving my overall health. I'm also appreciative of him having an understanding of Celiac disease and it's implications. He makes the effort to both ask questions and listen to me during my visits.

Great Doctor, the best Doctor I have ever had actually! I still remember my first visit to see Dr. Forsyth about 5 years ago. I had a weird sensation in my chest, felt as though me heart was going to pound right out of my chest. This had been happening on and off for a few days before I just could not take it any more. It was actually, so bad I immediately left work and went straight to Capital Family Medicine. I dashed in there as if I was on fire and told the woman upfront I felt like I was having a heart attack. I had thought I would have to wait since I had no appointment and had never been there, but that was not the case. Dr. Forsyth immediately connected me to a heart monitor machine and began his exam. After finishing his exam and coming to a conclusion of what was happening, Dr. Forsyth explained to me that this was a panic attack I was experiencing. Usually at that point you get a prescription and are on your way wondering what a panic attack is and how serious are they. This… was not the case. Dr. Forsyth then explained to me in great detail what a panic attack actually is and how they exist. He also gave me great tips on what to do while having a panic attack and how I can prevent them. I was extremely pleased with how well he reacted in a situation that I thought to be very serious, Dr. Forsyth became my regular Doctor. I just hope if there is an unfortunate time that I do have a serious problem I am close by his office as I may not be so lucky with another doctors reaction time. Dr. Forsyth has always taken his time to make sure he answers all my questions and that I leave his office with a complete understanding of what I visited him for. I know this is getting a bit long, so if you made it this far I would just like to say overall Dr. Forsyth has changed my life in many positive ways through out the years he has been my Doctor. Ways I could have never imagined. Thank you very much Dr. Forsyth!

I appreciate Dr. Forsyth's patiences and his ability to engage in conversation with his patients to really find out what is going. He is truly dedicated in helping me achieve a healthy life in the years God will bless me with. Thank you Dr. Forsyth for all you do.

He was careless and seemed uninterested in what I had to say. He rushed the appointment with a bad attitude.
