Dr. Rick Fox graduated from the Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles in 1983. In 1987, he began his post-doctoral work in athletic injuries, becoming a certified chiropractic sports physician. In 1992, Dr. Fox was honored as the 16th person in the world to receive diplomate status with the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians as a chiropractic sports physician.
From 1990 to present day, Dr. Fox continues to work with elite, world-class athletes, both amateur and professional. He began working with the medical tent of the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) in 1990, and in 2004, became the director of medical services for the Los Angeles Derby Dolls, an all-women's professional roller derby team. Dr. Fox is currently a featured and guest sports injury columnist for Blood & Thunder and fiveonfive magazines, respectively. He is also the founder, CEO, and designer of Second Knee Brace, a type of medical brace he developed with Dynamic Bracing Designs LLC.
