The front office/back office staff will not honor contracts with insurance companies. My surgery was approved in writing by United Healthcare and the office refused to schedule my surgery stating they didn't like the reimbursement rate. The office never returns calls. It's unfortunate that this office is not concerned with the health and well being of their patients as the Dr. stated my surgery was required asap. I am very disappointed by the service received. Signed disappointed.

Dr Francis came highly recommended by a 75 yr old retired orthopedic surgon., said it was the best work he had ever seen. Had a fusion and disc replacement results were great. this was a work's comp. Surgery for injury as a HPD policeman. After the case was closed the work comp agent said she has been working work's comp claim for over 10 yrs and everybody that went to Dr Francis had a positive outcome. Had second back surgery for clean out. The office l saff and wait time was 100% improved from my first surgery experience.

I was in so much pain. Pain that I have never had in my entire life. I went to Dr. Francis and he discovered I had 3 broken vertebrae’s. He performed a kyphoplasty and filled the bones with concrete. No more pain like I was experiencing. I am sore but so much better. Highly recommend this doctor.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a Doctor’s office! I have NEVER been to Doctor’s office that overbooks this much. 1st visit. I waited 2 hours after my scheduled appointment time before I was even taken to the evaluation room. I waited another 1.5 hours in the examination room before Dr. Francis decided to make an appearance. 2nd visit. I waited almost 2 hours after my scheduled appointment time and I finally had enough and left. Half of the people in the packed lobby were complaining about having been there 1 hour or more after their scheduled appointment time. Keep in mind that you are contacted twice before every appointment to remind you of your appointment time. The staff wants to make ABSOLUTELY SURE that you arrive ON TIME to your appointment. The takeaway: You must respect their time, but they will not respect yours. ****Update****** I’ve tried for over a week to get my medical records as I will never use Dr. Francis again. Erica (apparently the… person that manages medical records) has not responded to multiple voicemails. This is indicative of the type of service you will get at Dr. Francis’s office.

3Hour wait no doctor, asked why, then sent for x-rays, 45 minutes later Doctor shows up, Associate has to read off my symptoms, Doctor examines and talks about problem and further testing, MRI and Nerve test Studies for a tailbone problem. I felt like I was a piece of trash and he had an I am GOD complex. I Believe the excess test recommendations are due to I had good Insurance and he is affiliated with these facilities. Money hungry racketeering. Hired and fired him on same day. Please go see a Neurosurgeon.

This Dr don't care about the patients , before he doing the surgery he is nice , after he took your money he don't care anymore , and all the staff in his office are the same no good manner not respect for all the people to go there .

We waited for 2 hours and still hadn't been seen. I refused to stay longer if a doctor books so many people at one time they obviously don't care to give the patient the individual attention and time they deserve to provide quality care.

Dr. Francis is a wonderful man. I'm still recovering from neck surgery but my migraines are gone. I feel very blessed to have him for my Dr. I have had neck and back pain for over 20 years and no one could find anything. God led me to this wonderful man who I've been searching for over half my life. Thank you Dr. Francis and your staff for all your help and kindness.

This DR performed 2 laminectomy discectomies on my L5-S1. The first didn't last 2 months, so the second was a do-over. Went back to work after physical therapy. 3 months later it shifted again & fusion was only option, in Feb 2016. Began having issues during & after this fusion. Pleaded for MRI to see what was causing a number of issues. All he wanted to do was x-rays, which simply showed the hardware being intact. 2 visits, I pleaded for the MRI. I ultimately went on my own & had one when he refused treatment. MRI discovered 2 NEW herniations immediately above where he did the fusion. His bedside manner is horrible & he is VERY rude & egotistical. By refusing treatment & an MRI, it shows that he thinks he's God & was frustrated with the mistakes he made with my treatment. I've met a number of people treated by him & more than not, they regret him ever touching them, as I do as well. He left me crippled up and struggling to get up and down out of a chair each morning and in… excruciating pain!! Do yourself a favor...if you don't want to be treated like a number and dollar signs, seek treatment elsewhere. Countless times I'd have an appointment at a certain time, yet it would be HOURS and HOURS later when he'd see me. And even when he saw me, he'd spend 2 minutes after I'd driven over 90 miles one-way in pain. Yes, his office in Beaumont helps in vicinity to deep southeast Texas, but do yourself a favor and find another surgeon. Its worth the drive elsewhere to get better care and treatment. I simply wanted him to correct my back so that I may return to work for another 20 years, and some semblance of activities and hobbies I love. Instead, he left me unable to work and in severe pain, and unable to do many basic things due to the pain. All he had to do was order the MRI and address it. I'll find out next week if the method of fusion that he uses, created the other herniations. Avoid this doctor like the plague.
