Dr. Richard Scott Gregory, MD

Dr. Gregory is a fantastic neurosurgeon and a great man. I wouldn't have changed him as my surgeon if all of Mayo Clinic had asked to do it. He is the ONLY one I'd want to go inside my brain and cut nerves for my glossopharyngeal neuralgia which is completely cured since the moment I woke up for the surgery in 2010. He actually DID offer more, and a better outcome that the large clinic in Rochester. I can speak at will, laugh and eat without pain from that. Thank you Doctor Gregory!

I had a great experience with Dr Gregory. He reviewed my situation in detail with my wife and I preoperatively. He gave us all risks and options and described surgery and potential complication throughly. He preformed my surgery very competently and I am 100% happy with his care. His staff in the office are very nice too.

Dr. Gregory has been my neurosurgeon for almost 30 and from what I've read of him and experienced, the quality of my life would not be nearly as high as it is now without him. He does have his questionable quirks, but I've seen his bed-side manner grow more personal and friendly over the years to where he now jokes with me and my wife; she think he's a gas. I thank the Great one above for sending him my way.

I cannot imagine what the patient did to make Dr. Gregory rude. He has always been kind to me and my family. He always answered our questions so we could understand. He is top notch in my book. He did surgery on my brain.

I think this doctor is fantastic! He knows exactly how to diagnose an issue and if it's in his expertise, he knows exactly how to repair it. I had serious pain and lacked the ability to walk without great pain. He answered all of my questions and if I had trouble understanding, I asked him to explain it in simpler terms. If you're looking for sympathy and a sweet bedside manner, he may not be your man. If you're looking for someone who knows what he's doing and does it well; he'll get the job done!

Dr. Gregory had awful bedside manner. When asking him questions about the surgery he was condescending and rude, and never answered the question. I would never recommend this person. Terrible

I had a brain tumor when I was 7 years old, Dr Gregory was able to remove all of it and saved my life with no after effects. He always called me his favorite patient which helped keep me calm through a 2 month recovery. Thank you so much! I owe him everything
