Dr. Richard Scott Guido, MD

It has been a number of years since I saw Dr. Guido. A friend in the medical field referred me after I was given a C diagnosis. The friend saw my lab reports from several years and thought I had a bad diagnosis. She referred me to him and after he tested and expanded me I had a clean bill of health. That all happened about 15 years ago. I am grateful he is an honest physician. I recommend him to any one needing a good doctor.

He was extremely personable, didn't rush me, treated me like he truly cared, and answered all of my questions.

After 16 years of searching, I found a doctor that I have total trust in. The amazing staff is just a bonus. His knowledge and personality is just right. He is a doctor I would actually recommend to any woman I know. I'm glad I didn't give up searching.

After multiple calls there is still no diagnoses or treatment plan 5 weeks after last test results. I have never once been called with any test results or contacted in any way. Not sure why I am paying for expensive tests if no diagnoses is going to be made and no call backs

I was referred to Dr. Guido after an issue with a large fibroid had become rather serious. He seemed to immediately put me at ease during my first visit. He also called me personally on the phone to discuss my upcoming surgery, a gesture which I had never before encountered from a physician. He obviously has a very busy practice yet takes time to listen to questions and concerns and does not make you feel rushed when you are in his office. He looks at the whole picture and pays attention to detail. He took charge of my care and coordinated with the other physicians on my case to ensure safe treatment. He exuded a sense of quiet confidence that he could take care of my problem, which transferred to me and made me feel reassured. I highly recommend him.

I saw Dr. Guido for an issue my regular doctor diagnosed me with, but Dr. Guido corrected her diagnosis. Dr. Guido was extremely nice, answered all of our questions, and took his time to explain everything. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with him, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone! Dr. Guido really seemed to care about how I was feeling, and took time to reassure me before a procedure. We also dealt with Addy, a nurse in his office, and she was great and added to our wonderful experience. If anyone complains Dr. Guido is late, it is because he takes time with his patients and doesn't rush through anything, which you can't say about most doctors! Thanks!

Dr. Guido is worth his weight in gold. He treated me well for years and I have no regrets that he was my doctor. Seeing him is well worth the wait. He is responsive and hard working, and he gives great care, mostly with a smile no less. His clinical judgment is great. I think he has everything needed to handle your care successfully. After I was no longer his patient, I needed to find a good general surgeon, and he graciously referred me to a very competent one. I recommend him highly.

Misdiagnosed. Didn't seem to care/no compassion. Never called/followed up after surgery. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I like the courteousy of the staff, took the time to understand and try to identify the complaints at hand, and great location.
