Dr. Richard Stephen Gunsalus, MD

I've gone to Dr. Gunsalus for ear infections and tube insertions and adjustments. He fixes my ear problems and I look forward to visiting with him. He's the most personable and friendly doctor I've ever had.

Poor experience when I saw this doctor a few months ago. Firstly, he was 30 mins late to our appointment. Then when I told him about my issues with severe allergies caused by pollips in my nose, he laughed and basically said something like "so you sneeze.. everyone sneezes!". Then he forcefully shoved some cleaning tissues into my nose so that he could examine it. The rough manner in which he jerked around my nose made me start sneezing (pollips got agitated). He then made a face as if to say "yuck!". When I said I want to talk about the options to remove the pollip or reduce it, he said that allergies affect everyone and that he cannot do much. So, there... I don't think I've left out much from my encounter with this man. Make up your own minds.
