If you like the idea of practicing medicine on yourself, this doctor is your kind of guy. There is little oversight, no initiative and a "cowboy mentality" to solving post operative complications, like infection! Do yourself a favor and seek guidance from someone who is more current, better prepared and pro-active when it comes to addressing serious surgical vomplications.

Dr. Hathaway was very professional and caring. He took the time to explain my knee surgery, from beginning process to end, to ensure that I thoroughly understood what to expect in the upcoming months. The only downside to the entire experience was the orthopedic secretary. Getting into a whole dissertation to explain WHY I needed to see an ortho surgeon was not a priority on my list.

Excellent doctor and surgeon. His diagnosis was correct and the shoulder surgery relieved all my pain.
